    How would it in any sense force people to play at their own level? I would actually go down in trophies to get free resources from winning if this was implemented...actually I would still stay in gold league to farm noobs because inactive bases now would be able to fill their storage (for even a little bit) from winning against people dropping trophies or stopping before 50%.

    You say that as if the gold league bonus is significant, as such I disagree.

    League bonus only really becomes a factor once you hit Crystal leagues. Prior that the reward is immaterial.

    One suggestion could be a league bonus for defense as well as for attacking someone (example can be so much loot added to your storages for per star not gained). While it is fun to watch a successful defense, and feel you "deserve" a reward for said defense, there is, in a sense, already a reward for a successful defense...you get to keep your loot and not have to go looking for that extra 200K gold you just lost overnight.

    The reward to a defense is losing little to no loot while you're offline, and getting that much closer to your next upgrade. There's really no need for a "reward" for defending, the reward is within itself.

    If you win a defence you lose some loot, have your CC depleted, heroes knocked out; traps activated. Meaning the next person that attacks you has a far greater chance to completely decimate you. Resulting in even more loss.

    Winning defence only hinders you, never helps you.

    I have in fact stole many players dark elixir storage, 2k+ and managed to do it under 40%.

    Try telling me they are happy about 'the win'. They probably lost another 2k after my hit as I made it even easier for the next person by having the Queen & CC killed and some traps set off.

    You absolutely deserve a reward for winning a defence.

    The fact that top players stay online so much by whatever means necessary is proof defence is absolutely rubbish in this game.

    You invest a year of time, several millions of gold into defence. To never want to win. The game is broken.

    Then what do you suggest? We all know that yes winning a defense is one of the most undesired result of an attack. As you specified, yup, heroes get burned, traps are left unarmed, etc. So again what's your suggestion?

    A player has to physically push a button to reset traps so auto reset can't happen, heroes take time to regen so possibly an insta-regen for heroes?

    Yes we've all been there, and you're quite the pro raider for taking that 2K dark elixir, but who's to say the person you raided isn't someone who just uses their cash to buy more, or they can raid that 2K back and then some?

    So what's your suggestion for rewarding someone whose village is more exposed after winning a defense? 6 hour shield perhaps, let the heroes regenerate and allow you time to reset your traps, even earn a little bit of resources via collectors? We are all ears.

    Just keep this in mind, ask yourself the question will this cause no loot in the long run, or will this cause players to get frustrated and rage quit and attacking is not even worth doing, or will the changes require to essentially take this app off smartphones and tablets and have to be ported over to a console because of the complexity of the programming, if the answer is no, then I believe you found a solution, and I hope for all of us in the community that Supercell is reading this.

    My post on the first page offered a few suggestions to take some pain out of defense. Winning or losing.

    Why? Because defense sucks, period.

    It is massively overdue for SuperCell to make it more worthwhile. Things such as the following would help players defend more and stop wanting to hide from the matchmaking queue.

    *Offer league bonuses for defense wins [program it so the attacker must use 2 or more troops/spells to avoid payouts on trophy droppers].
    *Reduce trap re-arm costs. If you get 3 starred you can be looking at up to an extra 100k gold loss just to re-arm them. That is a joke when you already lose so much loot from the loss.
    *Cap maximum revenge trophy losses to 30. The fact you can lose 50+ by someone manipulating their trophy is rubbish.
    The idea of "defending" isn't about total defense domination during an attack, true poor design and lack of firepower plays a big part, but there's no such thing as a perfect defense where you don't lose a drop of resources. With the defense win payout, if it's anything like the league bonus for attacking, that amount wouldn't even be enough to re-arm your traps (hey there's an idea, free rearming of traps if you win your defense, there's your pay out).

    Yes rearming traps suck because they cost so much, the only way I can see supercell reducing cost of rearming is, they treat it like you're just rebuying level 1 traps.

    Trophies I could care less about my trophies, so that third one is moot for me.

    So sad to say there is no super defense until you max everything at that town hall level, and even then there's going to be a raid comp that will tear your base apart if done correctly.

    The only thing I can agree on is the reduction in cost of rearming traps, and possibly a free instant heal should your heroes be asleep. these two pretty much stays within the current programming functions of the game
