Introducing The Blackout Base! - A TH8 Farming Base

Hello there! My name is Palalay from the clan The Fog and I introduce you my first ever self-made base. This is a base created to protect Dark Elixir and segemented resources with the town hall outside. But just to let you know this is not a hog proof base so dont expect a lot from this base. Another weakness of this base is an all dragon raid. Any town hall 8'with a superb design cannot prevent an all out drag raid with rage spells. Without further a due, I present you, The BlackOut base!


PROs:
-98% Centralized Clan Castle
-Triangular Splash Defenses
-Intense Dark Elixir protection
-Well placed spring traps for giant healer funneling
-Very well segemented storages

CONs:
-Won't be able to prevent a TH9-10 full out attack
-Not a hog proof base
-When 2 mortars are taken out its an 85% chance the attacker can reach the DE (especially with the AQ)

Guys i chat on the forums on an ipad and i just wanted to know... How do you post pictures saved on the ipad. The blackout base is nice and i am SIDDHARTH in the clan endless olympus with my own base BABA PHILLIPS' BOUNCY CASTLE and i want to post it please help

Looks ok, but the storages look to exposed to me.

Hmmm.. Exposed..? The gold storages are very far apart from each other and you have to go through 2 layers of walls to get it with gobs or 1 layer with arch or queen. But yea, the DE is well protected.

The base look alright to me. The things I dislike about this base is how mortar place. It not cover most area of the base. As you can tell. The South-West are is not cover well are splash damage. But good work btw!

Your right.. The mortars wont reach most of the south west of the base but guess what.. there are still 2 wizards towers there which means there are still splash damages on that side

Storages are pretty exposed but de is secure so that's what you seem to be focused on. Mortar placement as mentioned isn't great and your spring traps are too obvious and with a few giants could be sprung. Good luck though mate.
