I'd say try the clan-talk subforum since people who are serious about a clan will be searching there.
Then they're mostly noobs, those who have played for a long duration.
Appreciate things more, No one should ask for elder/co - that is a ban imho.
What is your level? Generally the better the base, the more people are interested.

Make them work for it,like be in the clan for 6 months or donate 1000 troops or something like that. I personally only gave co to friends and family IRL or members that have been in my clan over a year
In the clan that I started, I made them donate 400 troops before they could be elder, and I only will have 3 Co's at a time, which I personally choose. If someone asks me to make them a co-leader, I tell them that it would be pointless to.
