Multiple Accounts, Fair or Not?

Strategy is about winning, not being fair.

That being said, I have two accounts, at different levels, in different leagues, with very specifically different goals, and I doubt that they will ever encounter each other, aside from the occasional troop donation.

I personally would never use one to try to shield the other, because I do not have the time nor energy required, to sustain one champ account, let alone two.

I've said it many times, if SC wants to end this phenomenon, they need to further incentivize people to push, so that there are more players in higher leagues.

So my question is, why does SC allow a players with multiple accounts to have such a huge advantage over players who do not, when it clearly states in the ToS that multiple accounts are not allowed?

A huge advantage? I have yet to see a high level player who cant fill his cc within 2 minutes with maxed troops.

At best its a tiny advantage but generally its not even taht.

I think the lack of "I think all are fair" that Sandal mentions in his first post should add more to the skewedness, at least you can check all the boxes if you think neither is fair.

What I struggle to understand is that the option about alt accounts because of boredom of main account is actually the SECOND most voted. This has nothing at all to do with "fairness" in any way, at least not in my opinion. I haven't actually read through all the pages since this is a poll, but what's the main reason for voting for the boredom alternative? Jelly of people being able to flee from their TH10 accounts, after they've hit a temporary stalemate farming-wise?

I think the pole is just very badly worded. Several comments have said they thought they were voting for what they thought was fair not unfair.

I dont think any of the reason given are unfair and cannot vote as there isno option to state that.

Oops. I answered it wrong. ♥♥♥♥♥ing with multiple accounts is bad. But personally, I started a second account for fun and to try new combos(I was a giant man on my main account, wanted to go barbs with the second).

The extra donations are good for my clan. Also, being TH9/10 while most of my clannies are TH6-8, starting a new account reminded me of what lower levels go through and give me a better idea how my clannies should be playing.

Lastly, if someone has a second device and wants to start second account, it's their time and money. Let them play the game how they wish(no ♥♥♥♥♥ing). Don't hate out of jealously.

Is it fair? If there is interaction between the two accounts then no.

Do I care, well no. It doesn't really bother me.

There's plenty of people to raid. I assume they have full cc anyway and deal with what I find in there. I also don't play at high cups, so if the cheap shielding between alts is possible, it doesn't affect me.

It has come to my attention that most of the hardcore players have multiple accounts.


There are several reasons for one to have multiple accounts, mainly as follows:
1) player is bored of the game at higher level TH and wants to experience low level gameplay again


2) players using second account with maxed troops to try out new army combo before implementing it on main account.


3) players using second account to shield themselves at high level gameplay.


4) players using multiple accounts with maxed troops to constantly and exclusively donate high level troops to himself and clan.


So, personally i find that some of these usage of multiple accounts are giving the user a HUGE advantage over those who do not have one.


It is clear that SC doesn't enforce their prohibition of multiple accounts. However i feel that it has come to a point where multis are interacting with main accounts a little bit too much these days to the point that i feel it is unfair.


Please note that i know that catching multiple accounts are nearly impossible and is not the point of this discussion.


So, what do you think? Which type of multi account usage do you think is unfair?

EDIT: Sorry that i forgot to include the "all are fair" option. If you feel that multiple accounts are fair game regardless of the usage, please let your voice be heard by posting.
