It's not that it doesn't matter. I would be glad if there were no multiple accounts. But even if everyone would like to change it, since I really don't see the way it could be dealt with, I don't like to bump my head over it too much. That's all.
.. and is also hard for me to pull the line between fair/less fair/totally unfair usage of multiple acc. I believe that it doesn't happen so often for someone to put the hard work in more accounts, and then doesn't use all advantages he can..

    Fair as well

    3) players using second account to shield themselves at high level gameplay.
    not fair at all

    4) players using multiple accounts with maxed troops to constantly and exclusively donate high level troops to himself and clan.
This is fair. It doesn't really matter, and doesn't really effect other ppl much.
I agree, the shielding is really unfair.

I think they are all fair. People having multiple accounts doesn't effect me or my game play at all.

I initially created second account when CoC was released on Android, just out of curiosity.

Both accounts are in different clans and different ranges. I basically use second account for below reasons

    1. get rid of the long build times, and these days i am riding the shield too (Very unlike me). From Mid Th9 onwards its just a grind. My clan keeps me motivated and going.
    2. Made many mistakes in the main account, trying to correct the same and see how it works.
    3. More over low level THs are a lot of fun !!
    4. Clan hopping is fun. Join low level clans with leader as premie crystal (with all respect)
    - As TH5 asking peeps "Does hogs really jump over walls ?"
    - Do healers heal dragons ? and debate
    - How do i farm
    - twice i asked for leader in clan and got it ! LOL
    - etc etc, i had good laughs (now that my mini is th8, i cant do that anymore)
    - meet many people and make friends and at times enemies too :-)
On my main account, in 10+ months i have been only in three clans, so i missed lot of fun and blind to how the world outside is working.

Overall i dont think its fine to have multiple accounts. Its players discretion and time spent.
Imagine, keeping 10-15 builders buzy, or keeping all accounts in same range at masters above. And the amount of gems to compensate for lack of time. It would drive me crazy.
If you see from my perspective, time(and money) invested in maintaining multiple accounts is not justified for a small advantage it can bring with troop donation or shield.

PS: My second account is in my wife's name, so technically its not my account.

Here's something I just heard about: when attacking a potential target, folks will use the second account to look up the target's base and see what troops, if any, are in the clan castle. It obviously takes some skill to search for the clan name and find the person and view their village and click on their clan castle in the 30 seconds before the attack begins...you're apparently starting a lot of attacks with less than the full 3 minutes. But it can't be denied what a huge advantage it is knowing the identity of the clan castle troops that may be coming out.

Oh shoot, I misread the poll and chose boredom, But in truth I think shielding yourself is unfair

I made my mini first of all because of boredom waiting for troops to train. 2nd because I didn't max my main at th8 before going to th9. Lately I have just used mini to donate troops to the clan and self. I stepped down as primary leader because of burn out and now clan just isn't that active mostly because adults with responsibilities. I like being able to totally fill requests that have been open for along time because of having 2 accounts to keep the clan happy and together. Otherwise some would probably leave, including myself.

I did the same thing xD

I personally use my alt to donate high level troops and colead the clan when I am away from home(iPhone alt)
It's nice being able to pass leader on to another account when you have to leave the clan for some thing important

Sounds like the OP is gutted he didn't make a second account ages ago lol

I play my wife's account specifically to donate myself troops, its th8 with nearly maxed troops..... I hardly play it though just try and keep lab and builders busy. Never gemmed anything at all and it's entirely fair.

When I started my main a real life friend introduced me to the game and as soon as I got my cc was donating me lvl 6 giants..... Is that fair? He got me in a clan with most people having lvl 5/6 troops so my cc was always really strong at low levels.... That gave me a big advantage..... How is that any different?
