Clans are the centre of the game, (it's even in the name).
-to have a good base you need a good clan (besides gemming)
-to get a high level you need to donate to clans
-to get to high leagues you need a good clan

Clans are great because you can socialise with people inside the game, get extra troops and tips and advise. Clans are the main source of fun in the game and fun is what games are all about.

I would say Clan, but if you want to stay in a good clan you need to be in good league; if you want to stay in a good league you need a good base, if you have a good base you have a high level...

Just so you know, you don't generally need a good league to join a good clan as most players check someones profile and base before accepting/inviting, you can stay in a high league by attacking lots with armies like barch, and you can heavily inflate your level by donating lots of troops.

Definitely the clan.
The clan makes or breaks the game for you.

For a casual, social player, a fun & active clan makes the dull mundane job of farming less of a drag.
For a competitive hunter, a supportive clan can make or break the game for you.

But to get to the Champions league is what a good player defines. Its the hardest thing in the game. Ofcourse you can gem your base, but either you have skill and a nice tactic to win against max th10 or you have not.

Any ding dong can get to champ.

The reason people say base is because without a good one you would lose loot (lots of it) and if you were going for trophies you would lose them too

yet in coc you don't need a clan at all (it's just helpful) levels don't mean anything and leagues aren't important unless you're trophy hunting (wich you need a good base for

whoever said lvl they are wrong..... you could be the best player in the world at lvl 1 (though that would be very rare)

Technically that's impossible, because every star you get you get xp. And every build you get xp. The tutorial forces you to lvl3 I think so lvl3 is probably the lowest by going up only defence
