Skull walls at TH8, a must? or can be done at TH9

Hi!

I'm currently a TH8, 80% done on maxing defenses except walls. I'm very eager to proceed to TH9 once my defenses and troops are fully upgraded, except walls. Do you think its a good idea to proceed to TH9 without maxing to skull walls (currently lowest level walls is dark purple, lvl7)? The fact is, it still takes two (2) lvl 6 wallbreakers to break lvl7 and lvl8 walls, except of course, their difference in hp. What do you guys think?

I've always stuck to the max out your base before you go on. it gets harder to max out your base the higher up in th you go. Im trying to get full legos right now because i know that when i go to th10 its gonna be harder to get loot. if i were you id stay at 8 and max those walls! plus lvl 8s look so much more badass

can be done at th 9 but just takes up more time and effort (i rushed to th 9)

Thinking the same thing here...altough I still have long way to go even for max defences. Just doesn't seem to have gold left for walls

Maybe I'll keep builders idle later and throw gold to walls while pushing higher in cups just for fun... or sumtin

I say do them now. You'll have to deal with 25 new walls and I think that you'd want to use your gold for your two xbows and upgrading wiz towers

If u are planing on getting lvl10 walls then do it but if not then no point as u have already stated wb wise

ive seen people make it to champion with lvl 8 walls and with hogs and all the flying troops it seems all the more useless but if you have the time and the patience then I suggest you max it I was 50% done with my walls before going to th9 at 500k a pop I wasn't going waste time and fall behind because of walls

I am currently at the end phase of th7, Right now i have no use for elixir and it builds up quite alot as i only have walls left to get lvl7 on, I have found that i can just have alot of fun with my constant excess of elixir by making elixir heavy armies and steam rolling under-developed th8's and 9's with dragons. Its a fun luxury that i get now that i dont need to drain all my elixir on troops upgrades and what not.

Moral of the story is as i've gone off on a speal is if you find yourself bored with just farming for walls experiment with armies that you cant really afford to maintain during upgrades to spice up farming walls.

do u have your Dark troops/BK maxed ? if not , proceed to C1/C2 and farm DE there , while farming DE dump your gold into walls and its a win/win situation , having high level DE troops will help you alot in TH9 and certainly will get you to masters , if you haven't done that already

going to TH9 with lv7 walls will make you an instant prey for other TH9s and 10s even , and it will be much harder for you to farm the 5M for WT , 6M for both Xbows WHILE doing walls :3

Minion is 2
Hog is 1

I'm not really a fan of dark troops, I enjoy the barb+archer combo, tier 1 troops. I do understand, the intimidation effect of skull walls. Thanks for your tip.
