Hogging. I need help!!!

What trophy range sould i start hogging bases. Im th8 and I have level 4 hogs and I'm trying to push to masters

you can hog at any trophy ranges, but highly suggest you do it above 1900 trophy range where you can actually get back some of the DE you're spending. Avoid bases that are obvious hog rings

I would wait until 2300.

I suggest at least till Crystal II or I before you start using them. Hope it helps.

I farm with hogs from 1700 and upto 2000 then drop back down again...so you could keep going
As long as you cover your DE costs, and treat them well, you will learn how many you need to deploy for various types of bases.
as th10 I carry (all maxed troops) 30 hogs 65 archers 10 barbs 5 minions 2 giants 5 heals (constantly making heals)
The giants for luring CC/AQ/BK etc - barbs take out the AQ, Minions take out the BK, archers and or my CC take out their CC, the remaining archer help take out a corner defence which is generally an AT and canon etc, then hogs go in, heals and then heroes (mine are both lvl 15) for clean up.
I ask for minions, archers or more hogs in my CC...dragons also nice if clan is generous

Now this army also allows me to take out the rare collector raids i come across too , and I only use the full 30 if they are up against high lvl defences - maxed th9 or weak th10 but has IT
And i try to not use more than 2-3 heal spells per raid then I always have ready for next one

You can hog bases at any range as long as they don't have multi inferno towers. You lure out clan castle, heroes and know how to use heal spell and it's almost guaranteed that you'll get 50%+

You can do multi infernos too...just gotta pick the right base - often you will see premie rushed th10 with nice shiny multi IT but ♥♥♥♥ other th7-8 defences, or they are lopsided etc...you should even with hogs get most of the loot here as well - or die trying!

I'd start at about 2100, wouldn't start as late as crystal 1 it becomes very hard to use hogs with all the inferno towers up that high

I would use BAM as long as you can. You can reach Crystal3 with ease. Probably even Crystal 2. When you feel life is getting too heavy, switch to hogs.

Well from 2400 but hoggs are harder to use now, most people got inferno towers...
