Holy cow, the game runs on the upgrades. If you they actually listened to you, they would lose a lot of cash from people not speeding up upgrades and also if it took an hour max to upgrade something you could get to TH 10 in about 2 months.

If Supercell did this, they'd be out of money.
People spend hundreds and thousands of dollars just to gem stuff.
If Supercell did this, they would also be out of business because people would play the game for a couple months, be maxed out, and quit and then SC would lose the money and they'd stop developing the game because they have no money and then the game and SC would collapse.
