The same has happened to my build as well. There is a Time Difference sometimes.
The build say 1 hr and you come after an hour its still says some minutes left.
May be they get the location based on IP , then decide timezone, and then decide the time ?
I wonder when i traveled to another country last month , i think i got this problem then also.

Well, I've been going a fair few months now.
This happen to me as I've reached TH8 and most upgrade is 6 days, 8 days, blah blah..
I'm sure that I never upgrade things after midnight, but it happen that some buildings finished at 1-2 AM.
Then I think it's weird but whatever, I don't want to waste my time solving this mystery.
..What about your gems in that case!? I Reccommend putting all gem purchases on hold until this issue has been resolved, or if you feel so inclined, make a complaint. ⬆

id say there has to be another 1gem boost for a week or one free upgrade after they fixed it.
earning extra money this way is not ok, and supercell perfectly knows about this "problem".

I'm backkkkk after over a month and this has not yet been solved. I honestly would suggest that everyone on this thread pm's the mods to bring their attention to this, or at least force their attention to it. Because it's gotta be dealt with. I've most likely lost weeks to this issue considering I've been playing for nearly the entire time the game has existed, and I haven't spent any money.
