There aren't any, and SC knows that. That is one of the reasons why they do not enforce their TOS.
Okay then. If the ToS is not enforceable then can I just do what ever I want?

Okay I will just get a child to use my credit card and then complain as it is not my responsibility.

Okay, so now it is okay to use exploits? According to your logic...

Think really hard about that, then post back. People have aready made it quite clear why multiple accounts is not hurtful towards the game if used for legit playing. The wording of the clause has been explained as well, it's starting to look like you're really just trying to push your point and ignore the logical and sensible explanations people are providing.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the reason why this specific clause of the TOS is not enforced. I'm also quite sure that you will get your account banned if you keep harassing people ingame (I'm talking serious racial/personal/etc offending here) and they screenshot of your posts and email them to SC support.
It is hurtful towards the profits of supercell though. If someone is playing two accounts then instead of gemming the build time of one account or boosting barracks, spell factory and heroes they are playing on another account.

Please explain how this would hinder performance?

I think the issue here is more that you dont have a clue what you are talking about.

Change the IP address of all the computers, phones, tablets, etc. in your house to the same IP address and tell me how that works out for you

Edit: better yet, because you obviously work in IT, you should change the IP addresses of all the computers at your work to the same IP address.

The real question is: does it really matter?

If it ever does matter, I definitely don't have two accounts.

There is no way SC can prove or even find out if a person has multiple accounts. Everyone has multiple devices at home, and for all we know, there is one account for each member of the family.

I took/stole/kidnapped this game from my son (yeah, i am evil) when he was a very premmie TH8. we were playing it together but gradually he lost interest in the game (I am glad he did so he can focus on his studies). A bit later i bought a phone and started a new account (TH7 by now) as I wanted to experience the early stages of the game and also play it right (no premmie anymore). I am still playing my sons game (he just checks progress sometimes). Does it mean I have multiple accounts? I dont think so. Technically, one of them still belongs to my son.

Then how come when I have the same local IP as another computer it screws up then?

anyway, it's obvious that you are exploiting using multiple accounts and you should be banned.

Possibly. But there is no guarantee this hypothetical person would gem the build time even if they didn't have a second account.

Why do you care so much anyway? SC has written this into their TOS to enforce should the need arise. In the vast majority of cases the need does not arise. It is clearly SC's decision to enforce this and no one else's.

Do you care if people exploit to get gems? Do people care about people exploiting game mechanics to get cheap shields?
