Ok, call me a bad person but I love to boost my spell factory and go zapping. I'm not trying to prove anything here, so i zap. But I just started a 4 day upgrade to my spell factory on the day the boost started!!! I didn't relize it so ya, I'm an idiot i am considering canceling the upgrade any thoughts on what to do? #KARMA

My TH9 upgrade just completed and my plan was for SF to be my among my first upgrades, but I'm putting that on hold until the boost is over. Absolutely cancel the upgrade...so you lose some lixir...Big Flippin' Deal.
My only comment on zapping is that its generally a HORRIBLY inefficient means of getting DE.
As a maxed TH7 you should have all level 4 troops, right? Find the right trophy range and use rage and heal and you can probably find tons of bases where you can capture 100% of their DE with cheap troops and 1, maybe 2 spells rather than using 3 spells to get 1/3 of it...you'll probably pick up a fair amount of gold and purple along the way too.
That said I do frequently keep a lightning in my arsenal and when I do come across a 3000+ storage or a full maxed drill i cant pass up the zap.
I been laughing for the past couple of days at the number of people who have been dropping 3 spells on me for 250-300 DE! Dont laugh quite so hard when they zap for me 1000+ but luckily with the new AQ I've got a relatively cheap DE sink, so never stockpiling more than about 25k.

as soon as you get th9 you will understand, but as you do it, obviously you're going to have a bias opinion. Zapping is an unstoppable, un-defendable way of getting DE, which is obviously unfair, there is no way we can protect our de from that.
He's only a bad person if he does one or both of two things:
1. Zaps then but doesn't take their townhall if it's in the corner and not trapped.
2. Kills their heroes an/or cc for no reason.

How is this possible? How can you upgrade your spells factory if you are a maxed TH7? Did you keep the spells factory as the last upgrade?
