Therefore meaning that this needs to be in the "ideas and feature requests" sub forum, and not the "general" forum!
And yes, I view zapping as efficient! Well sort of... I mean its efficient for a little more DE...
However I won't deny that zapping is unfair. But I can see why people do it. Sure there are other ways, but that's how they chose to play.

You are 100% correct.
Thing is, the landscape on DE lightning has changed; for the worse.
1) Originally spells cost gold, not elixir
Many players rate both gold & dark elixir equally, previously if you wanted to zap you had to sacrifice gold. It was previously a good balance.
But now, you only pay the abundant elixir, many players are full with elixir and abuse it. Which means more lightning.
2) Boosts are much more reasonable now
Previously, we had to pay 25 gems for 45 minutes of boosting. At that price next to no-one would boost their spell factory just to go crazy with lightning spells. However, at 10 gems for 2 hours of boosting? That is really attractive, a lot of players now boost their spell factories.
That is why it should be looked at again IMO.
np, im th9 and my de is always more than 50thousands, and my defense work for most of the time
have only lose more than 2000de in the past 9 days, and alot of defense win.
trophy range at silver 1 to gold 1
if u want to protect de, then use a de protecting base, and dont go too high on trophy( its for the people that dont raid)
{1} Again pot calling the kettle black. Look in the mirror.
{2} Seriously define unfair or fair please.
{3} Neither of us but I never claimed to be righteous or without fault. I was merely exploring the possibility I was in an argument with a tween given the lack of thought we are getting in your responses.
{4} You tell me. * pages into the thread you changed your stance and edited the OP to try and win the argument.
{5} The "game" being the one currently playing out on your thread not CoC silly!
Don't make me go back and quote your inconsistencies and lack of logic. I'd prefer you go back and read your posts from the beginning. If you fail to see your faults, tantrums and outright vile. Sir seek help from a professional.
1) Can't, I don't use my computer in the bathroom.
2) Fair would be spending time and effort leveling up your defenses and being given an opportunity to defend your resources. Unfair would overriding that effort by using no skill or strategy to place 3-5 spells down.
3) Doesn't take a whole lot of thought to repeat the same responses over and over. You guys keep using the same examples...
4) I've always had the same stance. I marked the places in the OP where I made edits in an attempt to clarify the objective of the OP and possible rule out already used arguments.
5) If the game is to fail to understand a simple point, then I can tell lots of people are playing.
