I apologize if this is buried somewhere in a thread but I didn't see anything related to specifically what I am suggestion. I am a huge fan of RPG's and having the ability to customize units, items, and weapons. I thought this idea could integrate perfectly into CoC via leveling up. I saw a suggestion to reward people with gems, but I think a whole new "point system" should be used. These points would be used to unlock "trees" related to the following:
- Base Design
- Defense
- Art of War
I can see that the lab kind of achieves this result but that is very specific to each troop you are upgrading. This is the basic framework for something that I think would significantly increase the replay value. Here are some examples for the categories I came up with.
- Base Design - decrease build time by %, create decoys, the ability to hide part of your base when being searched
- Defense - increase overall damage, increase fire rate,
- Art of War - increase overall unit attacks, increase spell power, ability to spy on a base to see what they have to combat decoys, decrease training times
All of these are just quick ideas and I'm sure there are countless categories you could unlock with points. The main concept is creating the RPG feel to leveling up and rewarding with points to increase skills. I am not looking to debate the actual categories but rather the main concept. Is this even possible or have they ruled out something like this?![]()
