Well, I guess the power of this would depend on your standpoint when it comes to cup rating. I do understand that offence is vastly more powerful than defence at Champ level, but again, there people attack with GoWiWi and armies of the same magnitude of power - if heroes were given defensive abilities that would swing around the odds of winning on defense up in Champ, what would that do to farming (or attacking with anything less powerful than a 1-2 hour army)?
I understand that the nature of the offense:defense relationship is quite different up in Champs, but I don't think it would be realistic nor desirable to adjust the rest of the game according to that. Not everyone wants to go GoWiWi just in order to get a 2 star in crystal 1 or get some resources for that WT upgrade. That is my rationale behind my critizism.
