Why everyone is using 'lloonions?

Pat isn't a good player, never has been. He was a player that started late and everything he talks about is from his experience with no knowledge of the game before he started playing. His videos are good if you are a lvl 20 you can learn some of the basics. Aside from that he posts things he obviously has no idea about. i.e. champs using lego stay online robots. Seriously?

That isn't a very nice thing to say...he does his best, and it seems half a million people like him. I don't think that many would like you if you carried around that attitude at all. I like Chief Pat, you need to respect what people have sacrificed for other players, and he DOES know what he is talking about!

Look i'm not saying he's not a nice guy or whatever. He means well but he passes on his info in the videos like it's correct and he has no idea what he's talking about half the time from the videos I have seen. You think he knows what he's talking about and that's the problem. He doesn't and passes his thoughts on like it's the truth because he doesn't know what's actually going on. The other thing that bugs me with these YouTubers is the constant advertising to click on this or that to give them gems, pfft...

Everytime i get looniand it seems to me there isnt that much strategy to it. Its just all about brute force. I aint hating cause i like playing that way too but this is my take on this attack. Its just plain easy to use and a guarantee investment.

Idk about you, but sniping with balloonions does take skill. And 2* a max th10 with balloonions takes even more skill and luck.

Bloomin' Onions are not that cheap. I use 35 and 34. So like 350 DE and 153,000 elixer for balloons and spells maybe another 100k. So 250k elixer is kind of a lot compared the belching.

LOL! They are dirt cheap compared to the alternatives when cup hunting! Only barch is cheapier, and you normally need 5 spells per battle. So cheapiest you can go is 50k for army and 100K for spells(light only). So you may be able to save 100K elixir a raid by going barch. If you are worried about that then you got no business cup hunting. Go back to farming.

As for farming with balls/minions the expensive part is the DE. I dont really like to use them a lot in the lower cups. Like crystal 3. Seems my DE just kind of grows too slow. Now in masters I can not spend DE fast enough!

To be honest, half of the strat threads I see posted do not help the average player. Sure the actual tactics during an attack is good. But the overall grand strategy just aint going to happen for some people. Like threads talking farming max heros. Sure, average joe schmoo is going to raid 40+ times a day on a "light" day. Or stay online for hours on end and easily make it to masters as a th2......

I always watch youtube vids or read strategy threads with one goal in mind. How to improve my next attack.

But I will say to anyone trying to improve their balloon skills, go watch the replays posted from the loonatix clan! Just awesome tactics!

Very nice attack from SneakyDave! I love seeing beautiful raids! Like a work of art! Too bad most of mine seem like they were inspired by Jackson Pollock. haha

But seriously, most people go through three stages with balloons. First they just suck.. Then you either get crushed or watch a replay where your clanmate crushes someone. Then you use brute force, dump and drop. Then you go for finese like sneaky daves attack or stiches or zacks.

So for guys that already got brute force mastered or the basics mastered, Chief Pat may seem like a noob. But you got to start somewhere. Just my 1.5 cents.

Balloonions is cheap, fast, and very very powerful.
Level 5 isn't as good as level 6. The difference is huge.

A few clanmates have succeeded with level 5 balloonions, but you won't understand their full potential until Th9
