Why everyone is using 'lloonions?

I have come from the future, I saw the video and travelled back to last summer and began using balloon minions!

Also, I feel bad for saying this but, Pat is absolutely terrible with balloons, lol.

Pat isn't a good player, never has been. He was a player that started late and everything he talks about is from his experience with no knowledge of the game before he started playing. His videos are good if you are a lvl 20 you can learn some of the basics. Aside from that he posts things he obviously has no idea about. i.e. champs using lego stay online robots. Seriously?

Balloons/Minions and/or Dragon have a number of advantages:

1. Cheap. Usually under 100K elixir and 700DE
2. Extremely High DPS and Health for your army
3. Fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it.
4. Trains fast - under 50 minutes even for a balloon/drag heavy army

It makes them a very attractive army for guys who dont want to drop 3-4K de for GoWiWi or 200K elixir/2K de for gowipe or 400K elixir for mass drag!

And those armies all take 1:30-2 hrs to train. So a no brainer.

If ur farming u just use 20 balloons rest minions

Bloomin' Onions are not that cheap. I use 35 and 34. So like 350 DE and 153,000 elixer for balloons and spells maybe another 100k. So 250k elixer is kind of a lot compared the belching.

Ballonion is awesome but most importantly FUN, I can feel the strategy flowing through my veins when I use a balloonion attack, it is thee bomb.

Everytime i get looniand it seems to me there isnt that much strategy to it. Its just all about brute force. I aint hating cause i like playing that way too but this is my take on this attack. Its just plain easy to use and a guarantee investment.

i wish i could show you how mistaken you are... loonions is about precision.. getting 50 percent... it is not about brute force... this does not exist...

For 3000-3600(Havent gone higher but it'd be the same), I use 16 loons for farming, 20 for FarmPushing, and 24 for pure pushing.

Brute force is for the novice looners. They use massive numbers of balloons(over 30, i personally prefer 24 or less) that just throw spells everywhere thinking it doesn't make a huge difference where they go or when they go(it makes all the difference) and these people lose much more often than people who use skill.
