♥♥♥♥ at this post.
The game is free-to-play. You don't pay a penny for it but your greed and impatience has turned into a genuine hate.
You hate the game so much then just delete it and never look back as people who genuinely enjoy will never remember you as well.
No offense, though.
LV125 TH10 : 144/250 Level 10 Walls
Just another guy on the block
Dude, you've been playing 5 days. I've got builders working on tasks 3 times this length
Trust me, you can still play this game at a very high standard without breaking the bank.
The beauty of this game is that money only buys you time, no special weapons or add ons.
If I were you I'd stop reading about other people and just go back to enjoying the game like you have been.
I, like many others on here, have played the game for over a year now (playing daily). There is always something to do, something to work on or something to achieve.
I've even just been on a trophy hunt where I reached 3,765 trophies using only the gems that the game gives you for reaching certain mile stones. Trophies this high probably put me in the Top 0.2% of players in the game, just short of Top 200 globally out of 11 million players.
Don't let the thought of money get in your head.
Guys we need to treat "alternative opinions" with respect, the OP has said he/she is new to the game remember how you were at that stage everything seemed confusing.
OP I don't think you meant Ponzi scheme this is not anything to do with that but I think your core message that the carrot is just away from the players nose is to some extent true - there is always (until you max out) something new to do that is a little bit harder to get - this is not a bad thing, it constantly challenges you to do more. However there is nothing in the game that cannot be "bought" with time as opposed to money.
The solution to it is utterly your choice - either you put time in OR you put money in...most of the people on the forum are more inclined to put time in - it's called farming basically, although putting money in is also perfectly fine.
If you would like help in improving your base for free then you have come to the right place and in return I'd encourage you to become an active participant in the forum helping others who may need it in the future.
Now retired from YouTube, feel free to say hi I always like a good chat
I still run my twitter account it's @daddy_clash (although I rarely tweet)
To OP: clearly you've been misguided by videos which misrepresented this game. You might saw things, but perhaps not the whole things or much different than what you thought you saw.
Now, as a gamer who have played games since forever, I suggest you to never seek infos about a game in the net, especially if those are not the official ones, at least until you yourself has a clear picture and experience about what exactly you are playing.
Guides, pedias, review, walkthrough, whatever, you name it, tend to bring the personal opinion of the writer which might not conform with your own. It will poison your gaming experience, ruin your supposedly enjoyable moments and kill all the excitement.
Just be done with them all, play what style you like and enjoy your own time. That way the game will be yours.
Buying gems is optinional, your not forced to buy gems.
However, getting in the top spots without hemming is Impossible. By the time you somehow farm all your heroes , walls, troops ect there will be an update with a new th or something
It how the economy works. Some people value the top positions more than others, therefore willing to spend the $.
Very nice and correct reply Daddy, with one Exception:
Can you compete at the top without spending money? If so proove it.
Stich just claimed to come close to top 200 with only ingame earned Gems and that is a really good accomplishment, but you don't earn most of those Gems twice so can it be replicated?
Edit: Just out of personal interest of where I should put the highest bar. How far up where or are you able to stay without using more Gems Stich?
