Ugh... I voted excellent on this thread and in the process of selecting vote now I accidentally hit terrible... Sorry, my bad.
With the truck delivery and boat I don't know that I could keep up with a train too. Need time to restock between boats.
Could you imagine a train needing lets say 24 sugar and a boat too? That might be too much.
It's a good though though.
Maybe if we use the train to deliver an item/items to a friend. Hey my friend needs butter I will send some on the train delivery to them and the. They have to pay for the delivery .. Like a fee and then the items.

I wonder if the trains will give us tools & other supplies after They dropped their items that they needed & then give us a surprise like vouchers or diamonds.

The train could be positioned on land above mine. Train could consist of 3 cars with orders similar to a boat order. Give more time to load train like 2 or 3 days.

Perhaps in that little piece of land that runs parallel to the road outside the farm, there could be a train! We could have to open the train station, and then we could fill train orders.

Maybe players could place orders for items they would like and the train would periodically roll through farms showing random help requests...
OR this could finally be a SC supported trade feature. If players added a limited number of an item they would like to trade and what they would like in return in a train car, the request would last until it either rolled by a farm of someone who decided to complete the trade or the trade request expired like the DD ads do. Upon completion of the trade or expiration of the trade request, the train would either bring back the original item or the new item for which it was traded. SC could add a diamond feature for calling the train back early to either retrieve the original item or the item for which it was traded, similar to calling boats early.
