    Status Effects

    Hi, I would really like to see this idea made into the game; I don't know whether it's ruled out, but please enjoy!

    What if troops could acquire 'status effects'?
    For example, they could become burnt, dizzy, poisoned, stunned, etc. etc....

    These effects could firstly, be acquired by chance, when hit by defences.
    A troop could have a chance of getting burnt if hit by an Inferno Tower or a bomb.
    A troop could have a chance of being dizzy if a mortar or a bomb explodes nearby, etc.
    Some statuses give damage; burnt, poison.

    For these types of 'vitality statuses', the chance of being affected differ on the troop level and the defence level.

    Secondly, statuses can be affected by spells.
    You become 'raged; if you use a rage spell.
    You can cure all negative statuses by using the 'cure potion', a new spell.

    Each unit has a status animation.

    E.G
    Dizzy - stars or ducks circling over head, like dead hero
    Burnt - Fire on unit's bum, with it jumping up and down every so often
    Poisoned - Purple aura with green smoke. Unit sometimes coughs.

    It makes the game more elaborate, but keeps it simple.
    This will take a lot of work to pull, but I hope SC at least considers it!

    This is CoC, not a monster collecting/fighting game.

    Random chance doesn't appeal to me.
    Imagine your L4 pekka ends up on fire and poisoned... would ruin a battle all for random chance.

    I really understand, and I too feel very strong about this, but this idea only provides some humour and makes more strategy in the game. I really don't think it would make the game into that kind of complex rpg
