Which replay are you talking about? Against the giants it worked perfectly, but against the balloonions the problem wasn't with the lack of dps in the middle, it was how it appears to be vulnerable to air attacks (which it is). The only way th8s can defend against these attacks is to make it look like strong, so maybe the attacker the will decide the next, but either way, it would be 100%ed. I think the best way to go about doing this would be to try and centralize the ADs as much as possible while leaving the WTs in the core to keep it from getting broken into against giant healer attacks.

Edit: Unless you mean the BK getting half a storage, I get what you mean now. I changed the positioning of the WT's in the core before this so that the coverage of the perimeter of the core is more complete, but it also would allow one of the WTs to be switched out while still making it so that WBs will be killed. The way they they way I'm testing the BK would have been in range of all three, which would increase the dps, but you can test it with two archer towers/cannons if you still think it is an issue.

I do not think that it is THAT big of a deal to switch out a vital WT with an AT. What I will try to figure out is to have archer tower coverage from the outside. People have yet to break into my core, the best they have got is 1 elixer storage.

You have any luck with the trophy base?

I'm glad to here it, but I believe now that there only needs to be 2 WTs in the core, the rest of the defenses should be interchangeable, I'll post the base in a second.

I haven't figured out a way to make it into a trophy base, but I think it would be a pretty good clan wars base, I'll post that one too.

    Explanation of changes

RED: Switched BK altar with a mortar
Although moving the altar to the outside of the core makes it more lurable, it makes it so that giants can backpath even on the side without the teslas. What would happen before is that they would make it to the at but without a tesla to bring them closer the walls with the cannon they would path to the pocket that used to have a mortar. Now what happens is that without the mortar they go to the wall and then to the cannon, like they should.

GREEN: Moved two ATs into the core and switched positions of all core defenses
Before the change the WTs served the dual purposes of killing all wall breakers and any troops that would make it into the core. I figured out that they way I changed them two you could protect the entire perimeter against WBs without using all three WTs. I switched the ADs into the core to discourage any potential bloonioners, a base with centered WTs and ADs is a huge no-no.

BLUE: I forget who it was but I just wanted to explain the intracacies of how this base defends against wall breakers better then I did before. I forget who was asking, all you bird avatars just seem to blend together. Anyways each blue line or box is an area that MUST be broken before WBs will attempt to target the core. The spring traps around the core are placed where the arms, even after they are broken, still tend to funnel the WBs to. Even assuming that all of the previous WBs hit, and that the WTs don't do there job, it takes a minimum of 8 WBs, and the first assumption rarely happens, while the second assumption never happens.

Looks good. Thanks for the find. Now the base has much more air defense capabilites. Ill change it to this.

EDIT: I made a base to protect the elixer storage more. Check it out and tell me what you think. Clan: Unite& Conquer IGN: Unicornhashtag7 (sorry about the name, my brother made it as a joke and I am stuck with it now.

I don't know, it seems like the walls that you would use to protect the elixir would weaken the base, and it is only slightly more protected from goblins, but it is even more vulnerable to archers. You're also using an older model for the wall structure I noticed. But hey if it works, let me know.

    Also that name is awesome!

    Update of the base:
1st: Giants pathing worked great, but got some in with a jump spell to go to the middle and used high level heroes.
2nd: Many minions with rage spell

Overall, I think I will change to your base, but can not be sure because lack of defenses using structure of walls.

You can sure come into our clan to see a few replays if ya like. I just got updated with the new (and improved!) base, but I do have some older version replays I can show you so you can get a look at some giant pathing.

i requested to join your clan unicorn but noone seems to be there,

Successfully defended against 3 lvl 3 drags witch 9 giants 11 hogs and a golem

Max rage and Lvl 5 lightning

This base with little to no more tweaks is going to be able to achieve so many goals just imagine the possibilities at Town Hall 9
