Been trying to farm for DE, this doesn't really work anymore because loot has been nerfed so much. All the screenshots here are like a base I'll see maybe once a month in the same trophy range.

So I think despite all of your incredible work here, which it is a ton of work, it doesn't represent what we're able to do any longer.

I still don't know how people legitimately farm tons of DE, it's just not possible. You have to gem, even I have to gem my spell factory and heroes so that I can attack a base with a decent amount of DE when I find one, but most of the time it takes 50-100 nexts to find 1500-2k DE available.

I don't think you ever get high level heroes without using a ton of gems, just don't think it happens anymore. Which is probably what SC wants, they want you to think it's impossible so you'll just gem it instead.

Myself, coldfury and stitch over in the "embarking on a journey to max heroes" thread Are all managing 20k De or more using tier one troops in 2 hours boosting our 4 regular barracks. Ive done a lot of 40-50k days. Granted its not brandons numbers but were not putting in the time he was. With heroes the numbers can be higher.

Also loonians are a viable option as well using unity sharps guide there's no reason why you can't hit 20k De profit in a day. More if you run one barracks boosts.

I am at the same trophy range and i dont find any of these bases. I am not sure if you already maxed and stoped playing? But could you tell us if this still works and if not it would be nice update this

Very Interesting Guide Thanks.

I have been using large minion waves to get DE but the net gain is low. I have been searching for another way, cheaper, to farm DE as I want to push my Heros. My AQ/BK are both at 5. I am in a crystal league and hovering around 2000 trophies. I will give this a try and let you know how it goes. Question:

1. Do you gem your spell factory to have spells available for raids? For "Flying Goblins" you need spells. How can you have spells ready for each raid?

2. I too am curious about how many searches you do to find full stores and/or drills? My experience has been it is a lot of searching?

3. You mentioned somewhere (I may have misread) that your attacking army mix affects the availability of loot? Is this true? (i.e.-- if you attack with PEKKAS and Dragons your loot availability in searches would be lower) or (i.e. -- if you use all their one troops the loot available is higher?)

So after finishing my regular elixir upgrades, I've realized that farming DE isn't as hard as I thought it was.

When focusing only on DE and sometimes gold, I've been able to get around 10-12k DE a day. It's not a ton, but it's allowed me to get my heroes to level 5 each and now I'm working on getting my hogs to max. I thought about getting my heroes to level 10, but I'm enjoying having them for almost every attack, so I'm taking a break from upgrading them. My archer queen especially, it's incredibly beneficial to have for each attack.

When she just runs in behind my giants, it's ridiculous, she destroys everything and is almost always what destroys the DE storage. I can't imagine how freaking incredible these heroes are at higher levels, or even like 25. Must be insane to have them completely destroy bases.

I'm still using my regular 10 giant/2 healer combo, with 70 archers 50ish goblins and 4 wall breakers. It takes about 20 minutes to make, but I normally gem my spell factory so that I have spells every attack.

While I'm not following this guide, I've been able to gain DE by just focusing on it instead of worrying about regular elixir upgrades now that I've finished all of them except maybe 2 spell upgrades.

I think that's the key, once you can forget about regular elixir, you can use as many spells and troops as you want, so you're not concerned about using too much elixir, which allows you to focus solely on DE/Gold.

Thanks for the awesome guide. My only issue is with the trophy range and army comp. I just don't seem to find any bases with enough DE to make them worth attacking in 1800-2000 range. So, I tend to use balloons and minions at around 2200-2400 cups. This seems to be just as effective or even more so at 2600+. The train time is slower obviously but my search time is a lot less. I usually boost 1 barrack and my train time is about 20 minutes. I just don't see how you find bases with 2-3k available DE every 2 or 3 minutes. I couldn't find any searching for 20 minutes. Anyone else have the same problem? Anyway, thanks for all the great info.
