In no more than a month, I've looted 160mil (gold grab 285 mil to 445mil) on TH9 using lv.5 troops

Well done but why don't you get better troops? OT my GGS is 327 but I've only been TH 9 a few days.

I'm like a week and a half ahead of you guys, my Townhall 9 upgrade finished on Sunday (it's Friday now where i live) so i've only been here for a few days.

Also, unluckily, my clan is doing a push RIGHT NOW so I haven't been farming or working on my base too much yet. I did what a lot of you did and tried to max my storages before the townhall finished, but i couldn't get enough gold :/

Notice I still haven't even built the new walls yet and I'm using a townhall 8 layout . BUT! I intend to get going after this sunday when our push ends.

Any advice would be great if you guys have strategies on things to work on now. What you can't see is I'm building 1 x-bow and 1 hidden tesla ATM. There's also a lvl 2 archer queen underneath the king. I just stuck them down there for now because I always have them sleeping during the push so i can bring them into battle if needed.

What I'd love advice on is how to smoothly transition into the townhall 9 layout? Obviously my lvl 1 archer towers don't belong in critical spots within my base, but how do i keep my resources protected while grinding new defenses up in levels?

Yes, but we who are in the very beginning don't have lvl 6 troops, it take a long time, so the only we have the first weeks is more loot penalty. I very much want one step higher giants/barbs/archers/healers!

When you transition the period before you actually have the attacking power of a Th9 is tough. Just like when you upgrade from Th7 to Th8


But that is sort of a given.


However, I strongly recommended getting etiher

1) Barbs then archers
2) Balloons then minions

Elixir demands are high initially. After you get camps and lvl 6 troops (which will require about a month), things get alot better
