They have repeatedly stated that they are very careful with adding loot to the game by means of new collector levels or higher bonusses. So we're left with alternatives within the exisiting values. Of those alternatives, two emerge as the most logical without being drastic:
- Collector achievement with a decent gem reward, prompting many people to max their collectors and thus add loot
- Either removing or incrementally decreasing the next costs (cost drops as you search above 10,20,30 times etc.)
Personally I feel the above two are very reasonable request on behalf of the community, without asking SC to make things too easy. Both will not drastically improve loot, but hopefully enough to make a difference for the better.

Supercell created their own domino effect. Once a game is changed in a way it starts to feel like work, it no longer is a game.
- I need to put my townhall outside (and I am an almost maxed th10 with lvl9 walls) to prevent my bases getting hit every time. First one drains my CC and activates springs, the second one drains my inferno tower, and the third one leaves my xbows empty and the base vulnerable. By the time I get the shield I already lost more than I can raid.
- There is simply not enough loot, and that is the primarely the cause of nexting. I they want to solve nexting, increase the gold and elix economy.
SC Investors do not care about a game, community, or the company behind. I invest 1 coin, I need to earn 2 coins. They only care about a positive ROI, that is called investing.
Boom beach won't match COC and Hayday was never a comparison for COC in regards to revenue. In order to keep a positive ROI on the Supercell investment they simply need more players to buy gems. Maybe they think a negative economy provides the incentive for players to spend but I doubt that it will work out that way.
The best way for sustainable revenue is creating a committed playerbase with active engagement. I think if SC will look at the figures they will see lots of previously active players spending less time on the game. There are many new players though, through Android and the commercials but those will drop out pretty quick too.
There is so much that can be done to change this; getting a more engaged player base, and meanwhile getting more revenue from the platform but I don't think the current strategy will work out positive for SC. The focus is on maximizing profit on the short term, not on long term player engagement.
Not everyone* I am one of the few that does not mind the change. Heck, yesterday I ran into 2 DIFFERENT RAIDS of 400k each! Took it all. Thus, what people don't get is this. It isn't that loot isn't available, its the players fault for not collecting it, that's what I think the whole confusion is about. Think about it, passing over all those max th9's offering 300k each..well that's loot! But would you like to try and get it? Na...

If you guys see my previous posts, im completely tired of people hating over SC, yet still playing their game. You want to make a statement? Stop threatening, and just quit. That will make them change things for the better, its right in front of you all! I though, am not one who is to accuse SC of ruining their own game, they have done a fine job and have built it up to whereas its even advertised ON TV, has its own forums, and has more than 300k players! They, and we, have something to be proud of, no need to focus on things that CAN be better when they are having their ears tuned to US. I think they have heard us already and are taking action, lets let them be and save it all for the next update. Shall we?

we are complaining about this game without quitting because we love this game or have invested too much time and effort into our villages.
Like someone earlier said, I am tired of people complaining about people hating over SC.
those new players won't face these issues because the entire content is new to them.

A very good post, if the game is based on the premise of people battling each other, and if this activity results in a net loss, there is no point to do such activity, and thus the game itself does not work.
It could be so for every win, based on leagues, a player is guaranteed to gain some minimum amount of gold, elixir and de for their trouble. Let that be a consolation or assurance that at least something is gained from battling.
