Why isn’t SC spreading the word about the diamond confirmation option?

There has always been a confirmation button to make nets.

I believe meonhoc is noting that the double tap confirmation button is not implemented on top of the pre-existing popup messages prior to spending diamonds on certain things.

Tap the locked mystery red box once and the message displays alerting a cost of 3 diamonds to unlock. Tap the second time and 3 diamonds are spent to unlock it. If the double tap was implemented on this we'd have to tap a third time to confirm the second tap.

Hi Holidae, normally we're on the same page, but it's nice to have a different opinion this time.

I think it's different complaining about fonts and letter sizes then the point I'm trying to make.

There's no reason why this feature shouldn't be enabled by default for everyone. Game play will not be affected.
There's also no reason why this feature shouldn't be mentioned directly (DIAMOND CONFIRMATION ADDED) in the release notes.
There's also no reason why the diamond confirmation doesn't work every time, even when it's enabled. (I'm not sure, but I think this happens when you need a crop for an item to be made and you don't have any at that moment in your silo. Again not sure if this is case when there's no confirmation asked but other people will now, maybe they can post it)

The only reason they haven't done above mentioned 3 things is because they still want to "steal" diamonds from players.
That's how I see it.

Is there another explanation?

Believe it or not, not everyone wants a confirmation. There are a lot of people who use diamond speed ups all the time, and for them a double tap ruins the flow of the game.
That is why there is an option to enable/disable the double tap.

I don't mean to be a smart***, but really??? I've never seen anybody here ever say that having to tap your little finger 1 more blinkin' time "ruined the flow" of their game. It's just ONE more quick touch. One tap is about the most minimal effort there is in this game.

I believe that SC didn't announce the button proudly and loudly to all of us "complainers" so that a huge majority of folks remain in the dark and will accidentally spend their diamonds. A very small amount of HD players read or even know this forum exists. I didn't know until I stumbled across a post from someone who casually referenced the button off-topic.

That said, I did state that I would buy diamonds when SC gave us a confirmation button so I did. I bought the V-Day discounted bundle as a thank you. I'm grateful to be able to play such a fun game (well, before this neighborhood business changed it for the worse) for free. I know that SC needs to make money or we wouldn't have this game. I get it.

I'm confused as to why everyone is suddenly, 'Yay we finally have a diamond confirmation button', when I've had one since the christmas update....and they told us that on the little notice thingy when you get the diamonds for the server being unavailable...and everyone on here said, 'Yay, finally a diamond confirmation.'

Did everyone get amnesia? Or did only certain farms get the diamond confirmation with the Christmas update? (The little exclamation mark that would come up on the diamond button).

Only certain people got one. They were testing two different buttons at least maybe more. One was like the one we have now and another was a tap and hold. You only got one if you got the notification after you updated. Several people thought everyone got one and posted that. Others noticed quite quickly that they didn't have it. This time it is for everyone, but you have to enable it and there was no scarecrow to announce it.
