    Yep, same thing happened to me during my short while using this base.

    Smile good base design

    I have just changed to Mantis with TH7 and 1450 trophy range.
    So far its been good. Two attacks on me failed. And I got 44 trophies.

    One of the attacks was 24 Giants and 3 healers and they were able to get into the core of the base. But luckily the defences outside managed to take them down in time.
    Looks like the attack usually come from the left-side (West or SouthWest side)
    The giants didn't go into the funnel but started going for the core. Not sure how to make them go into the funnel ??

    This looks like an attack by a very skilled player with lvl 4 troops. obviously the base is not 100% solid as high level players and skilled players can break it. Which is true for most bases.
    However this base will keep most of your average looters away.
    I also have the same issue as you where the giants don't go in the funnel but start attacking the core. But so far the defences outside are able to take care of them.

    i'm in TH 7 now and i just have 100walls, my defenses was finished. my purpose is farming. Which is the best base for me now?

    I've used both variations for clan wars and both work fairly well. I'm basically maxed and moving to th8 now. I used b more as a farming setup, and mantis has worked fairly well over time. Funneling does not always work, and I've noticed many attack from the bottom. Overall a very good option for th7. For clan wars, it is what it is....a th7 that will defend well against low to med th7 and get beat up by advanced th.7 with drags and most th8'and up. I've used mantis for 1.5 months now.
