Leader should be able to decide the ranking for reward aka how many people get a reward
and maybe they could select what th tier the comptition is for as let say random 1 is th 5 and random 2 is th 10 random 2 is gonna get more gold quite easly meaning it would be unfair to low lvl players
I think 3 places is good honestly. I think this is one thing that should be kept the same as it is pretty simple. Good point, and if SC does see this idea they could do that if possible, but I honestly think that it should be kept with 3 places.
Yes someone earlier posted about unfair th levels so I am working something out with that.

I know you setup parameters to counteract the "loot feeding", but that will still be heavily abused with this system. Every 2 days I can just funnel all these gems and resources into my main account from a clan with a bunch of my family and friends. Simple rotation. For example, "ok adam, you can get all the resources this competition, and ill take the next one" ect. Plus, you included gems. Fatal mistake.
Any time gems are included in almost anything... it just doesn't work out.
My biggegst concern however is this "clashes" with the clan wars that has just been added, and would seek to take away from what is essentially the main part of the game- warring with other clans. Obviously they spur you on to war with other clans for the loot, and if there is other ways to get loot... AND GEMS, in a less hostile, stressful manner... why war at all?
Unfortunately I believe this idea is not what clash needs. No, the negatives and potential risk factors far outweigh the limited positives from what is available here.
The idea can be added! People will get board of clan wars , it is what happens ! So when it does this idea will spring up and anyway you have to spend resources to gain them! Ok the gems are a big one with a 50 50 chance of working but that doesn't make it a bad idea
