I've gone from Gold to Masters multiple times without a single defensive loss, each time going 20+ defenses in a row. Attacks just aren't that serious until you get further up.
Then in Master 1 and champ, I almost never won any defenses, with the same base.
You should protect your money. Bad Defense for me
Guys this is a trophy base. And if you do protect a storage, whats the point of having gold while trophy pushing? Hard to tell because those attacks were like all barch with some randomness.

Sorry to tell u but this is wat u get when posting such threads on forums... There will always be someone who can defend better n stuff.. But in my opinion there is nothing to show off in crystal 2 if u r winning defence coz a lot of th10 are actually farming in crystal 3 n 2. U r juz lucky farmers attacked u n only coming for ur reso. If someone is actually cupping he would get cups n reso.. Good deal. I myself as a th9 had defended a number of attacks all the way to master3 by winning defence. So its not really a big deal. The game will actually gets tough when u reach masters 3..crystal league is now infested wif th7 n 8 so no big deal.juz my 2 cents worth.

You can get cups in Crystal 2 by using a few archers.
