To those who use thunder spell to steal resources

Who decides ethics? You? A CoC Ethics Committee? The game itself?

I'm pretty sure every one of us has attacked a TH level (or even two) lower than us because they had an easy 200k+ gold. Does that fit in your idea of ethics as well? Yes, obviously it does even though that can be viewed as in the same level as 'unethical', but somehow people ignore complaining or campaigning against that practice because they do that one themselves.

The only real answer here is the game itself decides what is ethical. If you disagree with what you believe is unethical in the game, post your ideas on getting the game changed.

Yup I have attacked countless THs lower than me and it's the same route that I climbed up as well being attacked by countless higher THs. But at least it's a "proper" army of attacking regardless of troops or spells used.

I'm farming in M3 so I will put my TH in when I need to keep my cups and put it out when I think I'm climbing too high. I don't really care much about shields these days since being a max TH10, I would rather log in to watch an interesting attack rather than a TH sniper.

I always tot it's a friendly gesture when i put my TH outside so that others can get some free trophies and league bonus... Never expect anyone to still zap my DE.. It's just... "Dirty".... Oh wait.. Can I use that word? Or do I need a committee to approve it as well? Haha..

I don't really have a problem with DE Zappers at TH7-8, especially at the lower cup ranges, since it's more or less understandable. I mean it's quite tempting when you're barching for collector raids and a full DE storage pops up and u have some lightning handy. But what's really ridiculous is when well developed TH9-10 start zapping DE and then come here and whine when theirs gets zapped, too. Karma, b****es.

You do make it sound like your opinion is a generally accepted norm instead of your personal value. That said, I think a lot of people use their real life values or norms to judge in-game behavior. But CoC is a game, a game of war. Real life doesn't apply there. Really you and everyone else are my enemies in the game, I don't care what you or anyone else thinks of my actions. Im certainly not going to play by your rules. If something I did, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you off, too bad! I don't like being zapped either, but hey, we're not holding hands here.

When you're sitting with full elixer storages and you need to drop trophy, collectors/mines and zapping is a great way to do it.

yep, that's true. It would be nice if SC came up with a way to defend against it, but it should never be a 100% guarantee. Fun wise it should just lower the chance of a succesfull zap.

my choice would be a consumable trap that you can place anywhere, next to your DE storage, but also next to a mortar or place it where clan castle troops most likely get zapped.

what do people have against de zappers? not saying that i do (ok fine, sometimes, when im bored and have nothing to do, i zap) but i mean they are just stealing resources like you steal gold. except they are using spells (and there is nothing wrong with that.) i personally dont care when it happens to me

Actually it is very cheap. 60k elixir only! Put your DE storage outside the base and theres no zappers any more!

Yup we all know its just a game and we ain't holding hands here. Well i guess different players have different ethics values.. Just like in real life too..Different colleagues have different work ethics and we might just need a Company Ethics Committee soon! Lol..

Because it is 100% succesfull! there is no way to defend against it and you can't fail. That why a lot of people call it cheap. It takes no skill, almost no effort and there is no risk for the zapper.
