Raid you own base

You should be able to raid your own base to try out base layouts. The troops should still cost elixir but when they die they only die for the raid on your own base. So when you exit the battle all your troops should be at your army camps. Also obviously you don't get trophies or gain loot which you wouldn't gain any way cause it your loot.

Yeah until they can find a way to combat sandbox they should make it freely available for us to do something similar.

Since I'm constantly trying to find the perfect base this idea is awesome and you wouldn't lose trophies by leaving the game having someone attack you lose loot and trophies. This idea you don't have to wait you just attack your self and find you weak spots and fix them!!!!GREAT IDEA

I did think of there would be people who find an exploit but it happens and Supercell is fast at patching glitch3s

Yes. I really wish people would actually read the stickies and stop wasting time on making threads about ideas that could never happen. It makes me so mad!
