One thing I don't like about the game is that best players must be very patient to pick an easy target or one with a lot of resources. You essentially have unlimited options to pick and choose your target.
The cost of 1000 gold per 'next' when your trophy hunting is really negligible when ur army and spells much more. It's eve negligible when farming.
In real life, when leading an army, your option of whom to attack is usually limited to a few neighboring states. In poker it only makes sense to fold less than 8 out of 9 times on average.
Yet in CoC you are incentivized to pick and choose from a very very large pool. In fact, I think it's the number quality in a good CoC player. It also breeds lazy farmers who will only hit exposed, filled collectors.
I can think of 2 ways to correct this. The parameters are placeholder values:
1. You get 3 times the trophies if you hit the first target, 2 times the trophies for anything in the first five.
2. The cost of 'next' should be a function of how many times you've hit that button in a given day. For example, first 10 can be free, then once increase for every 10 nexts. If you spend half hour hitting nexts before u attack, u should really pay up some gems.
