    I have many ideas, have posted them multiple times, but to get momentum one would have to create a longer post, including nice pictures and all... cannot be bothered with that, yet.

    Some concepts that are beneficial to how to think on this matter:

    - people should be more heavily sorted by their real trophies to get a better list of potential targets
    - matchmaking list should be cleaned of bad targets that everyone just nexts
    - matchmaking should probably have to be a net-gain system opposed to net-loss that it is now (with inactives it was the former)

    I could feed the exact ideas what to do, but that is just boring. About your ideas, and other solution suggestions in this thread, it helps to first articulate the issues/understand the whole issue before coming up with solutions. I feel if SC is going to do anything, it will most likely be along the lines of your suggestions, because this problem is just too big/complex.

    When you win a defense you get trophies.

    The complaint you should be making is that trophies aren't worth anything.

    Yeah I agree overall. I'm not great with detailed ideas, usually I just brainstorm concepts and someone much smarter makes them actually work. Love the game, I just think there are parts after TH7 that are broken/don't make sense.

    Still farming at master 3 with my worthless TH inside. Normally I wait 2-3 hours before I get someone to raid me. If I can get lucky, I get raid within 30 minutes

    Come and get me before I discard my worthless ego and throw my equally worthless TH outside.

    P.S. Still struggling... as much as I love seeing defensive win, the thought of losing resources through storage loss and re-arming of traps is more painful than the joy I get from defensive win.... The call to the dark side is strong... help me please, SC...

    Exactly. People will keep farming unless trophies get some form of value.

    I'll "farm" no matter what. The definition and method of it may change, but I will always be searching for the most effective way to upgrade my base. If that comes through higher trophy counts, I"ll do it.

    Well, yeah, I'd still farm too. But I'm talking about if SC made a change so drastic that trophies have a bigger value than resources.


    But, thankfully, I don't think they'd ever do that.

    Interesting concept, but I don't see how that is possible, unless higher trophies somehow gave better access to resources or higher collection rates.

    No, I disagree. People value trophies. Even farmers try to keep them at a certain level.

    But everything associated with defense is bad. Could cost you cups, resources, trap rearm costs, cc troops and hero's. In return you *may* win cups. That is it.

    Attack is all positive. You can win cups, steal resources and get a nice league bonus on top.

    Even if you make cups somehow more valuable, the smart guys will get those cups from attacks.

    One thing both farmers and cup hunters have in common. They don't want a serious attack on their base. The less you defend, the more cups and resources you will probably have.

    Which is why farmers throw out th and cuppers try to stay online for hours. Defense just stinks!

    Yeah... But noneoftheless, unless there is a somewhat interesting concept, I'd quit from that. I've actually wanted coc to be more economical in a sense.
