How to properly revenge someone who destroyed your holiday bomb(s)
Has someone detonated one of your holiday bombs? Well, if so, you've come to the right place!
Step one: analyzing the base
The first thing to do is to analyze the base. There are three kinds of bases that you might see. These are players stronger than you, the same as you, and weaker than you. I will go into detail on how to attack each of these players, starting with weaker than you.
Attacking players who are weaker than you
If the player you will be revenging is weaker than you, then it shouldn't be too hard to revenge them. It is essential to three star them. Here are a few strategies:
Pro Tip: Drop down in trophies to steal extra trophies from them.
For players with lvl 3+ pekkas:
th 8- 6 pekkas, 2 healers, 10 archers, 4 wizards, 2 rage, 1 heal
th 9- 7 pekkas, 2 healers, 9 archers, 2 wizards, 3 rage, 1 heal
th 10- 8 pekkas, 2 healers, 8 archers, 1 wizard, 3 rage, 2 heal
Attacking:
1. Place one archer in each corner to hopefully detonate holiday bombs
2. Put down 2 pekkas where you want to start the attack
3. once the buildings around the edge are destroyed, put down the rest of the pekkas
4. When the pekkas are near an air defense, use a rage spell
5. once the first AD is gone, place your healers
6. Heal/rage pekkas as needed
Pro Tip: You can substitute wizards for one pekka, or healer to get rid of the buildings around the edge.
For players with level 2+ dragons:
th 7- 9 dragons, 20 archers, 2 rage
th 8- 9 dragons, 20 archers, 3 rage
th 9- 9 dragons, 20 archers, 5 wizards, 4 rage
th 10- 10 dragons, 20 archers, 5 wizards, 5 rage
Pro Tip: If your minions are leveled up, using them instead of 1-3 dragons might work well.
Pro Tip: If you want, you can bring three lightning spells to destroy an air defense.
Attacking:
1. put down one archer in each corner to detonate any holiday bombs
2. put down all your dragons along one side. Try to attack from the side with an exposed air defense
3. use rage spells whenever you are close to an air defense
4. rage as needed
5. use wizards/archers to get the buildings in the back
For players with level 3+ hog riders:
th 8- 35 hogs, 25 archers, 3 heal
th 9- 35 hogs, 25 archers, 5 wizards, 4 heal
th 10- 40 hogs, 20 archers, 5 wizards, 5 heal
Pro Tip: At th 10 you can bring along one rage. It might help a bit.
Attacking:
1. Lure the cc troops with some archers, and kill them with archers and wizards
2. Place some archers in the corners to try for holiday bombs
3. Place 3 hogs, then the rest behind
4. heal as needed
5. clean up with archers/wizards
Attacking someone the same strength as you
For this, either use the method for players weaker than you, or for players stronger than you.
Pro Tip: Attacking players at your th level might require some cc troops.
Attacking players stronger then you
Doing this is simple. Basically, you explode holiday bombs, other traps, kill cc troops and heroes, then leave.
th 7- 70 barbs, 90 archers, 20 goblins, 10 minions, 2 lightning
th 8- same as th 7, but with an extra lightning spell
th 9- 80 barbs, 100 archers, 20 goblins, 10 minions, 4 lightning
th 10- 80 barbs, 100 archers, 30 goblins, 15 minions
Pro Tip: Bringing along a hog rider can help lure cc troops
1. Try for holiday traps
2. Lure cc troops and heroes
3. Kill cc troops and heroes
4. use the rest of your troops to try and destroy traps, especially giant bombs and spring traps
5. lightning the DE
6. Leave before you hit 40%
Pro Tip: Lure cc troops onto the DE, and lightning it for extra fun.
Pro Tip: Leave with 39% to make them extra mad.
Pro Tip: Wait untill they have a lot of DE to attack them.
