Is the chat persistent? Meaning, if I post something tot he chat, but its an empty room, will other people come in an hour later and see my message? Or do you only see what is being actively posted while you are also in the chat?

Is there any indicator as to whether or not other members of your Neighborhood are online or playing or in chat at any moment?

Yes, it stays. My post from yesterday are still there, not sure for how long though. You know when somebody posts, but not who is on their farm. The post in the neighborhood I am with are almost 16 hrs old.

It stays. I went in a little while ago and caught up on the converstion from while I'd been away, but it only seems to hold so many posts, so you can't keep trawling back ad infinitum.

There's just an indication of posts that happen while you're in HayDay. The chat is minimised to the left via a little half moon at the side of your screen, and if someone posts then you get a little red 1. What you don't know is who's active - so you can wake up, go into chat and post "Hello?" and you might be talking to nobody or there might be 12 people on waiting for something to happen.

But it's clever the way you can open it from one tap wherever you are on your farm. The chat function isn't accessed from the house - the house is just a control centre really.

The only irritating thing so far is that you can't access it from someone else's farm. So you can arrange to go to someone else's RSS but you can't talk while you're there.

So how do the invitations work, exactly? Do you only see them once your house is ready? If my house is still under repair, could I have invitations waiting I don't know about? Mine should be finished in about an hour.

That would make sense. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work, but then I'm no programmer.

Oh and you can do stuff on your farm on half a screen while you have chat open as well, which is useful. It's just a black bar down the left.

Yes you may well have invitations waiting. I don't know how they come through as I invited myself into Mosey's pretty quickly.

So you've set one up? To invite someone to it, you need to visit them and tap the envelope on their top bar.
