Neighborhood anxiety.....

So, can you just join a neighbourhood or do you need an invitation from the "owner?"

My understanding: if owner set neighborhood to invite only then you need an invite. If set to anyone can join then you can just join in!

There was talk of being able to complete Global Event objectives through the Neighborhood...

From those of you who have already joined or started one: is there any indication of how that would work? Maybe it just keeps track of all the members as you contribute to the event and keeps a separate tally that way?

But then what happens if you switch neighborhoods in the middle of an event?

I was wondering the same thing, because everyone would want to collect their personal goal prize right. So it's not like you could have one person adding the goods to the event, with the other NH members collecting/making the goods.

When I left my neighborhood I lost all fellow joined neighbors and have to start over.
It costs another 500 coins to create a new neighborhood.
The system also doesn't allow you to create an immediate neighborhood after you leave yours, you have to wait some time, not long mind you. I think it was 3-10 minutes.

Yes, it's five hundred coins. I just wanted to see what happens when I left my neighborhood that I created at my farm.

So you can only be part of one right ?. So if I had 15 of my neighbours in my NH, and 5 were part of another, I wouldn't be able to chat to those 5. Ok, so I am a little disappointed as I'd like to talk to the people I have added on my GC. I can understand why it's not like an open chat room, as that would just be mental with everyone who plays Hay Day. Well, we will see how this goes. It's new, and will take some getting used to. By the end of the month, we will be chat pros.....

I agree that it's a shame that our neighbours will be split amongst several neighbourhoods, so we will only be able to chat to those in the one that we belong to. We'll just have to try it and see..........

Yeah, I'm not sure yet, but maybe there is an additional tab on events...personal, global and then neighborhood?

you still work towards personal goal but then a special something if your neighborhood meets its goal?

hopefully we'll find out tomorrow! One more thing to be curious about!

I think it would be nice if we could belong to more than one neighborhood. It's not like we're competing against other neighborhoods and the global events are all for the common good anyway unless they make it so that the winning neighborhood wins something extra. Don't know. House isn't opened yet, lol.

I think it will take a while to find a group you are comfortable in, have any of you joined one yet.
