Love the idea and really think you are on to something this would defiantly change the game and it would be a great addition. But i have some suggestions..
1. He shouldn't be available in the dark barracks but in a different building called a mercenary hall ( my idea). In the Mercenary Hall you could hire mercenaries who wouldn't stay in the army camp but would stay in the mercenary hall itself which would be available at a level 7 town hall and just like the Clan Castle would start with a 10 capacity and go up to 30. Their would be troops that unlike any others with very special abilities like a spy...
2. You should be able to have another building called a Spy Center where you could check in on your spies progress, see how much he's gotten of each resource and where he is and also the threat level of he being captured, depending on his level and how many and level of watchtowers...
But overall great idea and think you should really push it and hopefully Supercell will consider your idea!
Thanks for great feedback. I see your point - the trouble for people who is not developed enough to defeat a spy. What I will say is that it is quite the same situation when a player with th5 or th6 gets attacked by very experienced masters who just demolishes less developed villages in seconds as defensive buildings almost do no damage to troops. We can put it as the cost of being less developed. Moreover, SC can make Watchtower available from th 5 or 6. Considering the idea of adding new abilities to Wizard Tower, in my opinion, it will bring confusion to the game.
I think it is one his unique characters and getting rid of it will demote SPY to already existing troop - Golbin

Returning to home village is making him somewhat HERO, which is Ruled Out by SC. Referring to idea of "spy seeing spy" is tricky a lil bit. Because you will always have to keep a spy in your camps even if you don't use it during attack. Well, it is from the side of shortcomings and inconvenience. From the opposite viewpoint, we can assume that SC unwelcome new defensive building ideas (why???) plus we assume that feature of "leaving army camps after 3 hrs" and stealing from home is unpleasant and undesirable than keeping spy to see spy is acceptable feature. I mean If your point will be approved by many, I will change OP and erase Watchtower and make some tweaks to SPY.
Thanks bro for suggestions. Again if SuperCell is reluctant to constructing new buildings it will be way too many new buildings to implement. And honestly, I consider it excess for spy to have so many building related to it.
Bullseye. I liked breakdowns by levels. I think it will bring more balance to the troop. So now I will change percentages and other features accordingly to your suggestion.

This is a really cool idea. If SC were to implement something like this I'm sure it would be greatly simplified, but the idea is unique and fresh.
I would love to leech resources from a wealthy enemy on top of my normal raiding.
Couple of questions, and yes, this is for a grade.....
1. You say the spy leaves after three hours in your army camp. Does this three hour clock start when he is built, or when he comes to deliver enemy resources? Furthermore, if a spy is donated to someone's CC, does the three hour cap apply? (I'm not a fan of the three hour thing, but I still feel like I should understand it.)
2. If the spy disguises himself as a villager and steals resources, shouldn't they take up 1-5 housing space? Surely not 20! Maybe 10, at most.
Also, nice pics, Assassin's creed, Age of Empires and our own Clash of Clans if I'm not mistaken...

Edit:Have you even read the idea?Dont you think 3% of DE EVERY HOUR is way too much?Say i have 100,000 thats 3000 in one hour!In 2 hours it almost 6000!Over the course of 4 days you wont have anything left?And thats just the DE!Unless surely he doesn't mean every hour,although thats what is written[/
i agree that you shouldn't get so much loot AN HOUR, maybe 1% a day would be better then u get a total of about 3%, that would be a lot more suitable.
