LOL this statement makes no sense at all.

So, max base loses every single attack? Attacking a TH10 max base is that easy? Well, instead of complaining "aww they are attacking me!" Why don't you attack too? If attacking a max base is soooooooooo easy, then attack! And you'll get your beloved trophies back!

You gain one trophy on offense and lose 15-39 on defense. And yes it's incredible easy to beat a maxed base.

Oh and it can take over 3 hours to even find a base in Champion's league.

The Cheap Shield practice is something that goes far beyond the confines of a single clan, often involving hundreds of players. Do you really think no one is asking himself why so many people are ready to lose hard earned trophies and waste hours of their time just to put a guy at the top of the leaderboard? Do you really think the community is so naive?

I don't have informations about this but you have to admit it is something people should think about.

I'm afraid there is no way to answer this comment without a bit of education and history lessons as painful and arrogant as it seems.
The goal of this game isn't the number one player spot despite whatever youtuber and strong opinionated TH2 think.

Every 2 weeks we have a tournament, this is the finish line, the holy grail, this is where you get a golden cup and even a meaningless amount of gems.
Ever since North44 called its feeders for help alliances were born, now let's jump in time, to counter that new technique Clans United was formed and players from all around the world gathered to beat the "corrupt" N44...
Alliances are now extremely common and our competitors are using the same strategies even if they complain about it.
Trust me, cheap shields are everywhere.

Now let's talk about Kings Landing and what it truly means for a clan like mine.
We have Mega, Q8 Force and Made In Italy as allies, every 2 weeks the top players of those clans form a cup clan and we usually win, that means every 2 weeks our alliances become 1 and only clan.

People like me don't care about cheap shields, we just defend and hope for the best, only top players are trying to get an edge using them.
So let's say a top KL player gets out for a defence and let's consider 100% of the players in his range are online.
He'll hope someone from KL, Q8, Mega and Made in will find him before Bonbee Canada, North 44, Quantum's Web, War Imperium, Gulf Knights, Made in Turkey, another arab clan, Ice Ice Baby, Chinatown etc...

Who do you think will find him first?

That's right, more often than not, our opponents.

There is no pandora box, just a huge miscommunication on our part and a lot of sensationalism on the other side.
We are no angels but we are no devils either.

I always wonder how players who have never experienced skipping 1 cup bases for hours on end can comment on a topic about how players are so frustrated by skipping 1 cup offers for hours on end and losing 30 trophies every defense that they are resorting to breaking the rules.

On the whole attacking thing, let me give a little bit of perspective here.

I am currently at 3752 cups, and I have been searching for over 2 hours and 15 minutes (+/- a few minutes), and the HIGEST cup offer I have seen is 5. As in, if I were to 3-star the base, I would get 5 trophies. Now just imagine how much worse this has to be at 4000+ where these guys have far fewer targets than I do. I'd say they hardly ever see anything worth more than 1-3 cups.

Sure, attacking might be easy, but you can't move up much in trophies if there is no one to attack. It is tough to even make up what you lose from a force break as it is.

that makes it ok to bend or avoid the rules or otherwise use unethical methods to maintain a trophy count? I dont think so. You can hardly claim ignorance of what high trophy play was like before you went up there. However you make the personal choice to maintain said trophy count. YOU make that choice and it doesn't give you(not accusing you) or anyone else else who chooses to maintain that trophy count a licence to ♥♥♥♥♥. Yes high level trophy play suck and is unbalanced but you can hardly claim that is a shock to you or anyone else up there.

Where did you get any of that out of my post? I just now got up there and was giving observations on what I was seeing. My post was in response to someone saying that personal breaks should be reduced to 3 hours and that offense is easy so we should be gaining cups easily.

In no way do I condone che@ting or any other unethical practice. And I absolutely don't use anything like that to gain an advantage. I'm logging off after my few hours and taking a beating on defense like I should.

As much as I agree with you nothing can justify ♥♥♥♥♥ing, the few people who know me behind the scene are aware of my constant devotion to making the game cleaner and fairer.
I cannot share the beginning of the things I've done to try to improve this situation, this my only public attempt.
But imagine being voted co leader of KL with my program... Trust me, I'm doing my fair share.

At the end of the day, competition or not, this is still just a game and having fun should be our number 1 priority.
Our lives aren't on the line, we aren't competing for a billion dollars, this is not a war.
The reason I'm doing this is because I want to improve a difficult situation but also because I love my clan and my friends and I don't want to watch everything we built tainted by corruption accusations.
We are arrogant enough to believe we don't need that program to be among the very best.

did id you not notice the " not accusing you" comment? It just gets to me that everytime talk of the shenanigans that go on up there pops up, someone trots out the old "but its soooo hard up there, you don't know!" argument. Yes its hard,I fully acknowledge that but as I pointed out none of those players has a gun to their head forcing them to maintain that trophy count, it's fully their choice.
