    Why would sc do something to their cash cows for the sake of you pathetic people who does not even bring them any revenue?

    But of course, for public relations sake, sc will definitely take some 'action' to appease the general players. But hey, know your place will ya.

    The new attack system is now saving me gems in a surprising way!

    I wrote this in another thread but liked it so much I thought I would repeat it here

    With the reduction in ability to defend I have realised that I don't need to recharge my heroes any more for defence. I play near the bottom of the champions league at present. The new super hero power combined with GOWIWI means I lose most defences to 1 or 2 stars even when my heroes are fully charged. I have no chance of winning on defence. However, with sleeping heroes but full cc it is unlikley I will lose 3 stars so I can now save myself 240 gems every time I log off!

    I have noticed around 10% of bases seem to have sleeping heroes around this level, perhaps many players are realising this is now a viable option. I bet Supercell change the system if lots more people let the heroes sleep!

    Perhaps we should have our own version of the cheap shield - if you see sleeping heroes you are only allowed to 1 star the village!

    The company gets far more from the rest of the community than it does from their 'cash cows'.

    The behaviour up at at the top of the leaderboards has put numerous people off making a run for it or trying to maintain it when they are there. The insular nature and rampant 'cheating' is seriously off putting and has plenty of detractors who have spent a considerable amount of money.

    I am no means defending, ♥♥♥♥♥ers and I am far from 3500 +



    but I kinda understand them.
    If I were up there I might or tempt to do ♥♥♥♥♥ing.



    I mean, you spend thousands, ten thousands of dollars to go up there
    and get 1 or 2 trophies by grinding for hours, and every time you log out
    you see low trophy players get massive amount of trophies you've earned for days.



    Wouldn't you do everything to stay online as possible?
    I would do it.



    What ♥♥♥♥♥ers are doing is wrong, but I feel that the Coc system is wrong too.




    I think trophy lost should have limits high up there.
    and defense should be more strong.
    Then people will not try to be online by using ♥♥♥♥♥ing.



    About ♥♥♥♥♥ing machine Coc could fix this.
    If system finds someone repeating things, for example touching the ground for thirty minutes.
    without touching buildings, collecting resources, making armies etc which a real online player does
    they should disconnect it.



    I think it's easy to do it. But before that they should fix the system first
    More powerful defense and trophy limit is an example.

    The problem is not complacency on SC's part. The problem is the revenue stream. They have created a monstrous revenue stream with their current system and are very hesitant to do anything drastic (clan wars) that could backfire and disrupt that stream. At this point, it all about the money which I can't entirely fault them for. How many times have we seen this throughout gaming history? Wow, COD, and many other franchises peak and get cold feet for fear of disrupting revenue. Eventually, a mass exodus of players occurs which causes the studio to release an energency game changing update in order to stop the games descent. Of course it ends of being a little too late and the game slowly dies off. Its a cycle that has proven itself many times and I don't think SC is going to disrupt it.
    Swimming in the waters currently.

    Ok guys, I'm new to the forums although i have been stalking for months! So.. Hello..


    This is my first post and although i have no experience of champions league i do feel I've played the game for long enough to build up enough knowledge of the game mechanics, even if i haven't actually experienced them but please correct me if i am i wrong.


    Basically, as far as my understanding goes the current issues that champs are experiencing are the inability to find a raid (without a great amount of time) or at least one with enough cups on offer to justify their time in order to make a net gain in cups before they are forced on to defence due to the rest break.


    However, as far as i can see the reasons for this are that many of the players in champions league are extremely active, due to "true" activity, fluffybunny (no idea what it is but I'm guessing its a screen tapper) or they are hiding under a shield, whether this be a cheap shield or a shield acquired from a real defence (I'll not go into people extending shields but i have read that people can actually do this too).


    So, basically champs league is corrupt with a lot of things going on. Whilst these are used to stop you from being attacked it also stops you from finding a raid, as so many people are using the same tactics.


    How can we get around this?


    Change champs league shield to only be activated after a one star loss but offer a 30 min shield after a successful defence (enough time to get cc troops and heal heroes).


    This will stop cheap shields and keep more bases in the matchmaking system.


    Change the forced break back to 8hr.


    This will reduce bases in the matchmaking system but make it possible to gain more cups during playing time.


    Incorporate a system that requires players to do something (whether this be type a word or tap random areas on the screen) to prevent the game timing out. Again, this should prevent random tapping programmes and increase the number of bases in the search pool.


    Some people may argue that it doesn't matter what these changes do and that the current trophy system doesn't work but as far as i understand it SC is happy with it and will not change it.


    What these changes should do is make it easier to find someone to raid and in my opinion reward a true champion, someone who hasn't got to where they are through the use of bending or breaking the rules will actually be rewarded.


    Yes, you may lose more cups than you can gain but so will everyone else and yes you may not be able to sustain your current position or break the current records which are set, but you will have achieved your position based on fair play and everyone in champs league will be subject to the same thing, fair play.


    We may see some movement in positions at the top but at any one time the person at the top deserves to be rewarded for their skills and commitment, not because they are always cheap shielded or using something to assist them to get there.

    To to the champs out there that do not take to bending the rules etc, i dont want to tar you all with the same brush!


    I also realise that this may not be the best area to post this but as there is an active high level champion involved in this thread i would be grateful for their comments.

    nice post, I'm glad some champ clans are trying to be proactive about things. I just want to clarify one point - CoC is not an E-Sport. The microtransactions, leveling system, and impossibly long build times (heroes take literally a year to fully upgrade without gems) make the game too unbalanced to be anything more than a fun game. E-Sports rely on the skill of the player only, not how long a person has played or how much a person spent on the game.

    What is true though is that some players have been able to extend their shields for a couple of days beyond what is available to a normal player and stayed online using a 3rd party program that I will name fluffybunny here (but most of you know its name already) for old time sake.

    We also had players complaining about shielding and this particular subject can be wrongly associated with the revenge loop exploit.
    Let's be absolutely clear on this subject, when a player goes offline no matter how many of his clan mates are looking for him, everyone has the same chance of finding him, nothing can guarantee a player will find his clan mate, in fact most of the time he won't.
    Team work is fair, this is the purpose of clans and alliances and as long as we all play the same game and we all have the same opportunities, which is currently the case, the best team will win.

    Kings Landing views on chêating.


    Kings Landing is no exception, we had a total of 5 players using fluffybunny, but our top player never even heard of it until recently, proving it was possible to be a top 3 player with no help whatsoever, his name is Gazza and we believe he is the best player in the world.
    To understand how players come to those extreme solutions it's important to keep in mind that CoC at this level is a competition, CoC is the first E-Sport mobile game ever and just like any competition every detail counts.
    But a competition is not always fun, and Kings Landing is above all a group of close friends playing together.

    I am here to announce that Kings Landing is a fluffybunny free clan.

    We decided to bring the fun back, we are determined to stay competitive and we are confident we don't need any help to stay in top 5 but...

    We need help.

    Every high level champ willing to give us a hand is more than welcomed, we will not tolerate any form of chêating but we are open minded on pretty much everything else.

    But the help we need the most is from SC, we didn't wait for you guys to tell us to stop chêating because we felt if it would have come to this, we, as a clan, would be worthless.
    What we need from you is to commit yourselves to fight this thing as much as we do and the reasons why it's so popular.
    We hope you have a plan ready and we are waiting for your support in this fight that we are starting tonight with a clear disadvantage.
    We also expect you to fight the reasons why fluffybunny is ruining this game, we know a better balance between offence and defence would make it less terrifying to go offline, we would love a 30 minutes shield available 1 time every day, we beg you to implement a timer before the forced kick and a 10 minute shield after a successful defence would prevent being 3 starred with both heroes down.
    We also need a better matchmaking system, this one doesn't make any sense and is unanimously despised.
    Not because it's too hard but because it's boring, in fact I stopped hunting and went back to 3600+ to at least find someone to raid...

    In conclusion, on behalf of my team mates, give us clan wars please, we are tired of this endless grind.

    I played with Gazza for some months when he was in Strategists before he needed more troop support that only a few of us could provide. He will still visit on occasion and I can attest to the fact that he is very legit. He's talked many times about how it is up there and as far as I have known he had no idea of 3rd party apps. For the longest time he was on 3G and would get disconnected during a raid. Hopefully he got him some wifi! But I've seen replays of him winning and losing legit attacks on his base. He is a very good offensive raider. His use of dragons is still amazing to see and I saw him climb legitimately. He's also a very cool dude to talk with as well. No Che ating just alot of time.
