Thread: when the goblins fight back!

    Great idea!
    I would love to see something like this implemented.
    It would help the single player side of the game a lot.
    However, I may point out some things:
    1. It could be hard on farmers because they would have th outside, therefore making it easier to lose.
    They would have to switch to a trophy base every time they wanted to do it.
    2. IMO, offense is stronger than defense right now, with the exception of maybe th 10 with infernos.
    This problem could be fixed by making the offense of goblins weaker (somehow) than normal.
    This is kind of done in that they come out the one area, but still.
    What I suggest is that if you get 0-starred, lose no resources and go to next lvl
    1-starred, move on to next level and get bonus, but half of resources are lost.
    2-starred, move on to next level and get bonus, all resources lost.
    3-starred, dont move on and lose resources.
    Just to make it more balanced.

    Good idea, I like the implementation of the goblins attacking back, hopefully we get to win some dark elixir

    i'm going to divide this idea into 3 sections: before battle, during battle and after battle


    1: before battle


    when you tap the campaign thing, there would be 2 modes, offensive and defensive.

    just like the normal (offensive) campaign, this one has 50 lvls.

    each level has its own army composition, troop lv's , and troops itself.

    this part was a rather short one


    2: during battle



    when the battle starts, some goblin troops will start to spawn here, in this little passage:

    they will start attacking your village with normal troop AI.of course, the troops won't be all goblins, that would be far to easy, instead they are normal troops but goblinized:


    barbarian: sword wielding goblin

    archer: bow wielding goblin

    goblin: goblin (what did you think?)

    giant: ogre

    wallbreaker: normal wallbreaker (open to suggestions)

    balloon : normal balloon, but green coloured (open to suggestions)

    wizard: elder-looking goblin with black cape

    healer: a demon, with red aura (healer has gold/purple)

    dragon: giant raven ( with goblin rider)

    pekka: ogre wearing armor and sword

    minions: same demons, only they have little crossbows and no aura

    hog rider: sword-goblin riding on wolf

    valkyrie: big goblin with mace

    golem: some sort of "tree" golem (open to suggestions)

    witch: same as goblin wizard, but has similar witch staff and looks more "zombiefied"

    barbarian king : goblin king ( goes for resources, NOT obtainable by the player, appears only in last 10 lvls)

    archer queen: N/A

    the troop IA will stay the same, so do stats

    also, goblins are able to loot 50% of mines,elixir pups, DE drills, gol storages, elixir storages and DE storages, but not any trophies


    3: after battle


    3a: won

    if you won, you get a some bonus resources, any resources lost by gobs are refunded and you can move on to the next lvl

    you can always replay a lvl, but without the bonus resources



    3b: lost

    if you lost, any resources that the gobs have stolen will be lost,you can't try the next lv and you can't do another defensive match for 2-3 hours

    ps: i'd like to add another goblin campaign related idea: let us be able to have the attacks in our attack log ( and defense log if this gets added) and be able to share them

    well, if they used spells, they will possibly drop it on useless places ; but i'm not a coder; so maybe supercell can do something about it? idk

    Not gonna happen. You've basically described a mini game, which is ruled out.

    They aren't going to add anything to the game that you can do while troops are building. I also don't see much point. Defeating the levels would be trivial just like with the single player offensive campaign. Simply watch a youtube video, rearrange your base, and boom free resources.

    If they were going to go this route, it'd make a lot more sense for them to just award a bonus for a successful defense. However, I don't believe they should do that either.

    Personally, I think goblin attacks would be a lot more interesting if they randomly attacked you from time to time and attempted to gain loot from you.

    My suggestion would be this: Every once in a while (not sure if it would be affected by shield or not), goblins would attack you with a strength randomly selected based on the campaigns missions you've beaten (i.e. the strength of the attacking force is proportional to a random mission you've beaten), so if you've beaten all the missions, the attack could random anywhere from super strong to super weak. If you fail to defend against the attack, that's all she wrote (the goblins can steal resources in the process). If you successfully defend the attack, it resets the resources in the goblin mission that was chosen to base the strength off of, allowing you to farm it again.

    Yeah...they aren't ever resetting the single player mission resources. They went down that road long long ago.
