why do you upgrade walls?

I could see why one would not want to upgrade walls because of hogf, but still...

Defences is too easy = boring.
Walls takes some gold, which is funnier! + they look badass and gives you some bragging rights

I haven't been playing coc actively (actively) for a long time. I got most of my stuff from my mines and pumps (and other people's mines and pumps) but, now that I actually attack in TH7 (and know how to farm right,) I am going to max TH7 completely. I usually skip walls with a few maxed ones. But this time I want all level 7 (even though I like level 6 walls better) mainly for level 8 walls. I also want a maxed out gold storage.

I am a bit of a perfectionist I suppose, I don't feel comfortable upgrading my hall without maxing EVERYTHING first. And yes, that includes walls.

I am however considering only doing some of/skipping lv 10 walls, 3 million for one piece is going to be a massive task.

You base will never be perfect of you skip them now.

I do walls as a place to dump my gold so it's not available to others. When I couldn't hold my gold well, this was a must. I work on walls less these days as I can hold my cold better.
