There is a thread started by Nick referencing the Facebook voting, but it doesn't have the pic or the ability to vote, it just sends you to Facebook. Since there is a vote function within the forum it seems like blatant commercialism that they do it only for Facebook users.

There are also posts that are forum specific in which Facebook users have to join the forum to participate.

    It goes both ways.

Not always. Usually before updates they post sneak peeks on the forums as often as they do on Facebook. They even post the same picture & quote as the FB post. They don't always do the voting thing with reference to Facebook to vote. This was the only time I know of that they did a vote of a new feature. As Holidae said, most often they post things on FB referring people over to the forums instead of the other way around (that explains why there's a bunch of new members starting threads about stuff already talked about).

In-Game Chat from Clash of Clans

As many of you know, Supercell's other major game - Clash of Clans - also has a chat function already integrated. I thought I would ask that side of the world how their chat functions and the results so far are not very promising.

Now, I don't want to say that we should read too much into this assessment and assume that the new HayDay chats will be the same (or even remotely similar). Clash of Clans is a very different kind of game and has a very different user base, different kinds of goals and game-play. Just more fuel for the speculation fire.

Interesting. It sounds like most people don't bother with chatting with random strangers - "Global." I imagine the clan chats would be like chatting with neighbors in Hay Day.

Also interesting is that GC or Google + is required to chat with specific people. Ugh, Facebook is bad enough. I draw the line at Google +.

At least it sounds like you have the ability to opt out.

Hey folks. Just want to direct you to this post, which should put our minds at ease. More curious as to what to expect but, at least, at ease.
