GEM box

Hi Clash of Clans community,
I have been wondering about the gem box.
Clash of clans said it had a bug which made it unable to make gems.
HOW HARD CAN IT BE?!?
Obstacles already make gems, just use the same coding.
It seems like something clash of clans did just to get people attention and make them think COC “Cares” about their members. This makes me think all clash of clans cares about is money.
I want to know what you guys think,

I don't think they would make it with the intention of taking it away immediately. They would have realized that it would have made people mad. I think that someone just made an honest mistake in the coding and it is taking longer than expected to fix.

Until they arrive... stop your belly aching and enjoy the fact that the obstacles now give away heaps more gems. I just had a mushroom yesterday give me 7 gems and three trunks have given me 5 gems.

OP... I think your opening post is a little too accusing..

Im sure the gem box will be back soon. Though I'm a little surprised that SC is taking so many days to solve the issue considering the fact that it's supposed to be part of an update which they should have tested it with reasonable amount of time before rolling out.

Obstacles give anywhere from 0 to 6 gems. Not 7.
