Given they have some processor issues with iPhone 4 and ipad mini etc, I doubt land expansion is in this update. Maybe fishing. I would think any land update will be above the mine and take you to a different area like the boat does.
i am hoping for a train with bulk cargo, 5000 wheat etc and mining coal for the engine.
however given the recent donkey fiasco, we'll likely get rabbits and unicorns.

Actually, Alfred did deliver just such a letter (and diamonds) before packing away Halloween. You must have just missed it.
