    I too like the farming aspect, but to get your TH taken out and get a cheap 12 hour shield is not meeting your goal of farming...unless you leave the shield early.

    please help me understand.

    Also, why are people suggesting move the air mines/bomb inside the walls when the healers start and work their way inward and by the time the air/bombs/mines get the healer most of the damage is already done with most of your loot taken along with it. Just trying to understand the reasoning behind it not questioning anything else.

    How to make an Anti-Hog base?
    First we know that a Hog group usually have 24 ~32 Hogs with Rage Spell or Healing Spell,
    and archers, gobs or barbs whatever to destroy buildings lost cover of defense.

    A level 5 Hog has 475 Hp.
    It's not that hard for a TH10 base to kill them, if they're not getting healed.

    So we got two goals to achieve an Anti-Hog base:
    1. Good Air Defense set to kill Healers as soon as possible.
    2. Try to reduce the efficiency of enemy's Healing Spells.


    Now let's give a look on my base

    To achieve goal 1, I did what I can to cover most of my base with Air Defenses,
    and set balloons between Air defenses to take down Healers as soon as possible.

    To achieve goal 2, I set both my Inferno towers to multiple mode.
    Since Hogs will attack defensive buildings, they tend to gather to central area after deployed to this base.
    And Inferno Towers can reduce the power of Healing Spell efficiently.

    Still, I haven't figure out the best strategy against Hogs yet.
    But this is the best one I got so far.

    I would ver much recommend centralizing your mortars more because they are very important. Also, your Air Defense is sitting outside of your base which isnt going to do you much good.
    Those double walls don't actually help against troops or wallbreakers because they will go around it so i would recommend taking those walls to make more sections.
