Just playing around with different designs as I finish maxing my walls. Tell me what ya think.

I'm pretty sure that giants won't path around your corners like you think they will. They'll just attack your mortars and air defenses through the walls. I believe giants will target the nearest open defense up to 5 units away, and your exterior defenses around the corners are further apart than that.

I'm sure you'll find out pretty quickly whether this works or not though.

Attacking from bottom right, I could take out 3 splash and an AD, allowing me to use air troops until about when I am done with 3/4s of the base. I could've also dropped archers on left side and taken out 2 ADs as well, allowing me to destroy you with air troops. Though the funneling will slow me down considerably.

Maybe centralize AD a bit more, and not have your splash on the outside as much? Then again, it seems hard to centralize it more...

Hello this is my Town Hall 7 farming base for Gold and Elixir till purple walls are done. I am then hoping to make it to Crystal lll to farm Dark Elixir with this design.

If I was to place the Barbarian King (once I got him) where the Dark Barracks are would that be a good place?
Can this design work for a Crystal lll Dark Elixir farming base?

Your wizard towers are on the furthest layer of your base - not a good idea. I could easily attack from top or bottom and take out 2 splashes. And I won't have any trouble with your other wizard tower until I get to the last gold storage. Then again, I could have also sniped it with some archers, or attack from both sides at once, leaving you with one splash. Then goblins, goblins everywhere.

Try protecting your WTs better, as right now, they almost aren't protecting the storages - maybe replace your random dark barracks with the WT? Don't see why you are so keen on protecting that barrack...

Thanks for the tips, but the Wizard Towers actually does protection the Gold Storage. The Elixir Storage is just a tank to me.

It is still pointless, as you do not have him yet. I personally don't like to defend with Barbarian King, as he takes a long time to recharge (except at night), and he is really easily lured and can be taken care of with a few archers, but yes, that would be a good place to put him (though you will have to sacrifice defense).

It is not pointless, it is a place holder. I am pretty sure that the Barbarian King would need to be in the walls , so instead of designing a base and then designing another just because of him, I made one with the thought of his altar in the base. That is a good point about the Barbarian King, I am not sure if I will use him a lot on defense or not.

What do you think about the design working as a Dark Elixir farming base?
