We were asked to compete and politely declined and merely suggested that we would be interested during a boost event. Then Speedro sent a dig(the right kinda way) itd jumped in cuz they luv us and sandal the troll cant help himself.
We we pride ourselves in base development and skill development without taking shortcuts(gems). I'm not on here saying how ridiculous it is to spend hundreds even thousands to win a donation comp. U guys play ur way and thats cool. But yall seem to jump on the hate EX bandwagon because our playstyles differ from yours??

btw I'd love nuthin more than to take u guys on, on a level playing field. Unfortunately coc doesnt offer that option.

I guess we don't need it to be "fair" or a "level" playing field for us to want to take on itd, the game is what it is, the comp is what it is, I don't think competition is ever 100% fair, but it is 100% fun. We don't back down from a challenge, even at the risk if losing. We also don't call ourselves the kings of farming, and take shots at itd for months, but duck at the opportunity to take them head on (comment not meant towards exploitation). As Nate has said, without clan wars this is the closest thing we have.
Your comment is clearly meant towards Exploitation... We are in no way ducking the competition, I merely suggested we would like to participate in a future comp that "coincides with a boost which would better level the playing field". I agree it will never be 100% fair.
We stepped up to the challenge in the last clash of the farming clans comp and for those of you that don't know the outcome I have taken the liberty of posting Bill's final word.

I'll play the role of spokesman for AD2..I brought this up to mull and co about a week ago (since no one checks the forums really) because I thought it would've been good for us. The response I got at the time was that the comp started at the same time as the new update (which they believed to be the clan wars update), so wouldn't be a good time to join. Not sure if that's what the update is, but regardless I'm gonna run it by them again now with more new competitors added; hopefully they bite this time
In a recent interview it was estimated early April for the update, also almost every forum mod is now in the competition lol
