I am a "thinker", and here are some improvements for village edit mode which I have come up with [over time]:
• (1) an "info mode" located under erase mode, that allows you to do two things: check the info (hp, attack power...ect), and gains you full access to barracks and your spell factory. This way when you plan to devout over an hour to a "super base!"... You can keep up with your troop donations, and also correct any errors to your army in progress (such as FORGETTING TO START SPELL-CREATION!".
• (2) a "remove all" feature, that effects: flags, flowers, defense units (each kind individually), barracks/spell factory, and walls (all separately), and is triggered by holding down an item of that "sub-category" for over a second... So let's say that you "tap and hold" an archer tower. After one second of this hold, all archer towers become highlighted in blue, and from there storing one tower will store all archer towers. This concept is applied to defense units separately, and then to all if the other sub-categories as a whole (all walls will be selected to store, all flags, all flowers...ect)
• (3) "Sub Categories". Organize all items (as mentioned in idea 2) into sub-categories so that they are not all in one mash-of-a-mess as they stand currently. I counted... And there are 72 different items all piled into one "mile-long" line, and it is quite dreadful when your cannon you are placing is removed, then goes to the BACK of that 72-mile line!
so yes, simplify categories to something like this: Defensive units, storages/collectors, decor, and then buildings (barracks, TH, lab, spell factory...)
So yes, thank you for your time! I hope to see features like these added to the game in the feature.
Cheers!

Came out a few weeks before Village Edit mode was announced, so a lot of the ideas are similar to what we have now, as well as extra ideas like Saving Layouts.
