    Lightbulb Builder Huts!

So here's my idea, I'm not sure if someone has already thought of it but apparently there are a lot of builder ideas; however, I think it would be cool to be able to upgrade a builders hut one of two ways at any given time. Upgrade choice one: Upgrade builder's efficiency, reducing total time to upgrade by 2.5% or 5% per upgrade, cost 250,000 of each resource, doubling or increasing by 150% per upgrade stage level. Upgrade choice two: Increase total builders by 1 per upgrade, cost is equal to buying an additional builders hut and increasing in price similar to that of buying new huts.

I think this would be an awesome thing to introduce, as it would not only help newbies to getting stuff up quicker and joining the bigger leagues, but also help the more advanced players with having to wait their lives away for one thing to upgrade. I myself am in between a newb and a more advanced player, and am really starting to notice this is becoming a waiting game as the upgrade times are quite strenuous and in all honesty, not truly needed considering the price you pay for the damn upgrade to merely commence. I have faith that something of this nature might occur, but do know that upgrade times are probably what make CoC the most money on crystals to finish stuff immediately.

Please no harsh or rude comments, as this is just an idea being shared. Keep rude stuff to yourself where it belongs please!!!

Hi and welcome to the fourms,
Your 'upgrade builders' idea is great, but it can be abused, and it's been ruled out by Supercell, probably for one of the following reasons:
    1. Players would upgrade builders to get stuff done faster instead of buying gems to complete projects.
    2. Supercell would lose profits due to decreased gem sales.

Thats why I gave the second upgrade choice the cost in gems, not resource; and they can easily just cap the level of builders at two or three, but have unlimited amount of builders with due costs and plenty of gems to be bought. It may be ruled out, but this idea, if thought through and coded correctly, could probably increase their profits. Just think, if capped at level two, 5% of 7 days is roughly 8 hours out of the total of 168 hours, not that much of a time improvement but it's an improvement. They could always just change the upgrade choices cost to nothing but gems, boom! Serious profit increase! Not to mention people would still probably cave in and buy gems to finish some things right off the back such as defenses or barracks or research.
