Please don't act like DE zapping is new news....or as though people are only now zapping due to the increase cost of hogs.

But in the last couple of days lots of people are screaming and creating threads to complain about DE zapping!

I see this thread is meant as a joke. But now a serious comment. I think a level 7 townhall should get a level1 drill and a th8 should be able to upgrade theirs to level4. Sc gives th7 no choice but to zap dark elixer.

You're wrong here. Lots of people around here have farmed and maxed their BK and DE troops on TH7 without zapping, I think it's more probable that those who zap a) are not aware of how to get DE by other means, b) can't be bothered to check up how to do it differently or c) can't be bothered to try and farm it by raiding with an army. Just because you're getting your DE using certain methods doesn't mean other people don't do it differently - and it certainly doesn't mean that "SC gives TH7 no choice but to zap". That's just ♥♥.

DE is arguably the rarest resource in the game (TH7-8/9) and should by definition not be easy to aquire - hence the current drill situation.

More on topic: If anything is to be blamed for increased zap rates, it's the DE loot cap introduced in the loot change patch. I don't think the recent changes affect zapping to any greater degree, it might have increased it a bit, but not much.
