Level 6 Minions look great for the townhall 10 theme, not many will deny that but there's an issue I've heard voiced from everyone asked.
Level 5 Minions(Max for Townhall 9)take two hits from an Archer Tower 11(Max for Townhall 9). Level 6 Minions(Max for Townhall 10) die in one hit from an Archer Tower 12(Max for Townhall 10).
Some may say "I don't see what the big deal is" so I'll explain the issue this way. Archer Towers fire every 1 second. Minions especially in Champion's League are used sometimes to pick of 50% so you don't lose most of a days worth of trophies in one loss(which is effectively what losing an attack is when seeing double digit trophies available is something to celebrate). All opponents have level 12 Archer Towers. The difference in time survived under first is 1 seconds vs. 2 seconds....that may not seem like long but that's twice as much time meaning you have to use HALF as many minions. As of now Level 6 Minions are almost UNNOTICEABLY better than level 5. Certainly not worth 100,000 DE and 2 weeks of wasted lab time.
All they need is 3 more health to put them at 87 so they end up with 1 hp after being hit by an archer tower of equal advancement. Every Balloon user I've talked to says the change in health is useless as they still take the same amount of hits from EVERY SINGLE DEFENSE in the entire game pretty much. So they may as well have the same HP as level 5 minions.
All we ask for is 3 more hitpoints than they have now for our 100,000 Dark Elixir and 2 weeks of time.
